  1. whats going on man? i moved but am keepin on. you adapting to those changes or what?
  2. "evil dee is on the mix cmon kick it" on each song at least three times on his mix tapes
  3. here is a photo of what la paryse was using at the time inside. i think they change it up but not sure. when i was there it was snowy too. and the world famous super sexe.
  4. the show was great when it switched to sirius but with artie becoming more and more unhinged over the past couple years, and howard doing the same old shtick he did a decade ago, the show is getting a little tired. howards interviews are amazing though and are as good as ever.
  5. the girl i stayed with up in montreal lived on the street up the hill from la paryse. place does have amazing burgers. when i wandered in their one day i raved to her how great of a place this was and she had no idea what i was talking about...even though it was at the end of her block and she walked by it everyday. montreal girls are a trip. find one to climb into a warm bed with.
  6. tmz, that bastion of truth, is reporting... Artie Lange was rushed to a local hospital in New Jersey on Saturday for undisclosed reasons. A rep for Lange tells TMZ: "I can confirm that Artie is in the hospital. Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment." Lange has been absent from "The Howard Stern Show" for the past few weeks. i havent posted on the 12oz in some time but check it here and there. i know there are some howard fans up here. other sites have people posting that artie tried to kill himself by allegedly drinking bleach, stabbing himself in the stomach, and half assed attempts at slicing his wrists. i love artie on the show but he has been way too fucked up for a while now. it was funny at first but its now becoming an act - old. what do yall think? you like artie on the show, think hes coming back? he looked super fucked on dope during that 50cent interview.
  7. tell native montrealers that "anglos rule" and theyll buy you a beer. its a tradition.
  8. dunno if pffffffffff is still up here but hit me up dude. im out here now.
  9. it was a great film. dont expect it to be like any other paul thomas anderson movie though. the things that he is known for do not generally occur in this film. im being vague bc i dont want to give away too much. daniel day lewis is excellent in it. it is a character he will be remembered for and many clips of it will be shown when he is honored at some fancy film event when he is an old man. if you like films, its definitely something worth seeing on a big screen. its almost three hours though, so be prepared to settle in.
  10. its def a date movie, for sure. as far as th emusic, ive never heard such bad, cliche high school music before. those lyrics must have written by a 15-year-old girl. as far as the character juno, she was quite the "snippy" and "witty" one. i think the actress who played the character played it just a little but over the top too much, just a little. otherwise, even though i have knocked it here, i do think it is one of the better films to come out in some time for its originality and the topics it covered (which i think was pretty ballsy in todays age).
  11. im going to see it this afternoon. i tried to yesterday but all of the showings were sold out, so i bought a ticket yesterday for today. ill get on tonite and let yall know how it is.
  12. people have sold toast on ebay with the image of jesus on it. you can even by canned gravity on ebay.
  13. if they are lookin for folks on the internet, or through the open casting call, its a bad omen to what should have been a good film. i think theres going to be a lot of bad computerized fanciness going on with nobody actors that are nobodys because they suck. this is all very unfortunate as a megaman movie should be golden.
  14. http://freecastingcall.com/casting-calls-in-new-york-ny/auditions-for-non-union-film-ny.html Megaman - Platinum Cinema (http://www.platinumcinema.com) Non-Union Film Apply to: eddiesr@frontiernet.net 15 shooting days, starts Mid-Feb. Audition Jan. 12th Director: Eddie Lebron. In the year 20XX, Dr. Thomas Light, an Nobel Prize winning professor in the field of Robotics, creates a series of 6 revolutionary robots entitled the “Robot Master Series DRN” in an effort to use robotics as a mean to better mankind. As a personal project, Dr. Light creates 2 androids named Roll (a female) and Rock (a male) who are made to be as human as possible from appearance to behavior. Rock and Roll are, however, also created due to Light’s goal to have the children he was never able to have. Meanwhile, after the creation of the series gains Light his Nobel Prize in Physics and notoriety, his partner and colleague, Dr. Albert Wily, grows enraged and jealous of Light’s success. Secretly, a man who wants control and power, Dr. Wily decides to reprogram and steal the robot master series to do his bidding so he can wreak havoc and gain control of the city. As Wily begins to steal more of Light’s creations, it becomes clear to him he has the resources to systemically gain more and more control in an effort to reach his ultimate goal: total world domination. With a strong sense of duty and regard for humanity, Rock volunteers to receive a battle upgrade in an effort to battle Wily’s forces, thus donning the name “Megaman”. The battle for humanity is now between Megaman and all the bots at Wily’s disposal. Apply to: eddiesr@frontiernet.net CASTING: Male / 18-24 yrs. Fireman: One of the 6 robot masters. Has to ability to create fire from his internal reactors. Made to appear as a humanoid, he is able to emote and talk but is suited in mechanical battle armor. Believes serving Wily is an act of justice. He sees himself as a bringer of justice and is combating the forces of evil by serving Wily, when in actuality, he’s doing the opposite. Any physical training such a martial arts is a plus. Male / 18-24 yrs. Iceman: One of the 6 robot masters. Has to ability to harness and create ice from his internal reactors and supply of liquid nitrogen. Made to appear as a humanoid, he is able to emote and talk but is suited in mechanical battle armor. He has what some would call a split personality. At times being sensitive and obedient while other times being a strong brave figure which could be an impulse to make up for certain insecurities. He is the smallest of the 6 bots (possibly one of his major insecurity). Any physical training such a martial arts is a plus. Male / 18-24 yrs. Elecman: One of the 6 robot masters. Has to ability to generate electricity from his internal reactors and use it in various forms.. Made to appear as a humanoid, he is able to emote and talk but is suited in mechanical battle armor. He is programmed as cocky and egoistical believing that he is a superior creation while still understand his responsibilities as a minion to Wily. He feels the need to terminate those that are potentially “better” than him. Any physical training such a martial arts is a plus. Male / 31-40 yrs. Dr. Wily: Dr. Light’s colleague and soon to be enemy. He is an older man Similar appearance to Albert Einstein from the moustache to the hair (he has grey hair). Wily at times can be wacky and loopy while other times is sinister and psychotic. Very power hungry and strives to be a leader. Note: The Einstein appear is a big plus but NOT necessary. We are looking for the best actor to portray the character so we are very flexible with appearance. (I.E. Any similarity would help whether not the actor has grey hair). Male / 41-50 yrs. Dr. Light: Acclaimed scientist in the field of robotics. A very kindhearted, open-minded and optimistic individual. He wants to make the world a better place and to use his work in such a matter. Very warm father figure to Rock and Roll who constantly shows concern for them when they are in any form of danger His appearance can reflect that of Santa Claus (large beard and such). His hair color is grey. Note: The Claus appear is a big plus but NOT necessary. We are looking for the best actor to portray the character so we are very flexible with appearance (I.E. Any similarity would help whether not the actor has grey hair). Female / 18-24 yrs. Roll: (Prefer either Caucasian or Asian actors.) Rock’s “sister”. A very perky and kind hearted character. She is very supportive and caring with a good attitude and outlook on life in general. She provide Rock with the security and support he needs as the events of the film progress. She cares for Rock more than anything else. Note: Being a blonde is a plus. If Caucasian, lighter hair such as blonde is a big plus. If Asian, any hair is flexible (whether dark or light shades).
  15. yo shai, let it go man. i get what you are saying. the people that get what you are saying agree and those who dont, dont. either way, youre not going to win an argument on 12oz. there are too many varied opinions to totally win over a crowd on here dude.
  16. eprops are funny because the people who have them really really care to an extent. then there are posters who look at those people as the awesomest ever and then there are people who look at those people the exact opposite. i dont think theres too much of a middle to it. edit: as far as internet arguing goes, its a hard game to win. it usually goes around in circles till someone gets dizzy and shuts off their computers and forgets. no one ever wins on 12oz arguing. its 33 year olds arguing with 14 year olds arguing with someone who thinks he'she is rad because they have 8,000 posts and much e-props against some newbie whos just trying to have some fun on the site too. channel0 has its ups and downs like everythings else that has some reach into a particular culture.
  17. I agree with the whole "props" thing. It's people who are pals online constantly hitting a button to give someone e-status, which though some of the folks who have a lot of props say they don't care about, you'll see a post here an dthere of them saying to actually give them "props" for something. As far as the board going stale, I disagree and agree. I think closing the board id a good idea for safety, but I would say it's a fact that new people get ragged out by much "cooler" members who for some reason believe they are an integral component to the board, when it really just shows them to be some person who sits around all day replying to threads with useless information and posts just to get a post count up (but thats been happening for a long time and that happens with many boards. There are always those types of people out there who respond to boards). I don't think the croad here is that great either that it only needs to be closed to these select people that are members now. I agree with the mods comment made by Shai Hulud as well, I mean cmon, how many personal messages as threads can be posted? It's funny that some of those dudes bash people for lame posts but are quite guilty of this themselves. That said, there is a need for them, absolutely, but some of their abuse goes unchecked and in any good democracy, theres always someone to keep the power in check as well. This isn't a democracy though, its an internet graffiti message board.
  18. theres a pinball game at a bar by my house that has the most sensitive tilt in the world. if he hit the flippers too hard, the thing tilts. theres also a game at another bar where you can slide the damn machine a foot and the thing never tilts. thats a fun game when intoxicated.
  19. i just think seinfeld is a scumbag. dude dated a high school for some time then stole some guys wife away from him while he and the lady were on their honeymoon. thats a shitty move. when bill clinton makes these type of moves, he is killed by the media and right wing fucknuts. seinfeld gets a pass bc hes supposedly "funny." fuck him.
  20. my gf is constantly watching this show. ive banned it and seinfeld in my presence. if it were not for pop culture, family guy would have no show bc all it does is reference funny things that already happened in other movies/shows/music videos/etc. without actually being original on their own. anyone can do a show where 75% of it is referencing what was awesome when you grew up. this is what overtime is referring to as "recycled humor" i believe and agree with. the other 25% consists of flashbacks and those over-extended periods such as when someone falls and hurts themselves, and the character says "ow" for about two minutes of a 22 minute show. thats just wasting time. its the same as when someone says "like" in a conversation a million times. its because they have nothing else to say so they just make noise out of the holes in their face.
  21. faile is pretty well known. http://www.faile.net/ i don't get it. what isn't graff marketed in is a more relevant question.
  22. is it possible to really read this book? i dont see too many actually reading it. i do see many dudes having it as their only book on their "bookshelf" though. yikes.
