Go simple with smooth lines. Keep detail in the nose to a bare minimum. focus on the eyes and lips and avoid detail in teeth.....unless your drawing Sandra Bernhardt. There are a handful of books that you can check out that give decent direction. Any of these "how todraw comics" is a halfway decent place to pick up a direction on a foundation level but don't expect to "learn how to draw" by following books. The bestest best way to truly learn is to spend the extra money and take a figure drawing class. That is truly the only place where you will learn how to draw the human form. Hope this helps.
