  5. big up to Arom from colors zoo for the making of this book!
  6. im from Montreal , but plan to move to spain someday...
  7. You can live in Mtl pretty fine just in english. Theres a big part of the city who is english, and the majority of the citizens are bilingual. But if i were you i would definitively learn french for a better integration and socialisation with the quebecers or the montrealers. Plus, french people like it when you do an effort to learn the language.
  8. Quebec is the most anti-bush place of North america, not as much as Europe but we are verry critical to Bush's administration. As for the graffiti scene, its more hard core than the other cities of Canada.
  9. You can find for more or less 500$ can. a 3 rooms + bathroom appart here in the center of Mtl. But if you want to be a cop or a teacher you'll have to know french. especially in the police force.
  10. Vancouver: west coast style. if you hate winters go there. Pretty hot all the time compared to the rest of Canada. A lot of rain though. Mountains + sea make it verry beautiful and interesting i guess... But i think that the cost of living is verry high compared to Montreal. Dont know about the job situation. A lot of asian people. Montreal: Quebec style with a touch of english. if you love winters go there. You wont be able to paint wild style pieces for 3 or 4 months in the winter or you ll get frozen fingers. Montreal always been the poorer city in Canada , but since 10-15 years theres an economic boom. because of that traditional poverty the cost of living is one of the lowest in north america, and the rents of an appartment are low too. But since 5 years the prices are boosting up... so its not that cheap anymore, but you still can find some good deals. For the job situation, if you looking for some litle jobs on the side while studiyng for example, its easy to find them only in english. But i guess that if you want to make a real career you ll have to learn french. If you want something different from the average american culture go there..
  11. well what are you looking for? Big cities i guest? Are you willing to endure the cold winter, or cannot stand it? Learn french or 100% english? If you are focusing only on the biggest cities ( like i'm presuming) , you only have 3 choices : Vancouver Toronto Montreal
  12. 1st of all, where do you want to move in Canada??

    ITALIA

I went in Italy 2 times, and was lucky to meet writers, talk a little and paint a little too. From the little i know Roma subway doenst buff, or buff way less than other countries. The thing is that the subway system is verry small and consists of only 2 lines : A and B. I think its because of the archeological sites all around Roma, they cannot expand everywhere. So they cannot afford to pull out of service a lot of cars to buff them, since they have not a lot of them, the service would be slown down. Also i think they dont have a lot of money, and the system is really shitty... Also, because theres only 2 lines, its verry concentrated, so they always hit the same cars, wich begin to be oversaturated of graff, and thats what impressing when u see them in service. I'm not a subway master, but i don't think that hitting this system is easier or more difficult than other countries but due to those facts we can see a shitload of graff on this little subway system. Maybe i'm wrong.. could any Italian writers explain more ?

Roma campione! its nice to see that the b line is still getting hitted! and yes Jon is everywhere.. poison too! i loved his stuff
  15. straight letters are the best. real graff. some people think that straight letters are easier than the wild style... i think they re wrong. Some wild style piecers cannot do some straight letters right....
  16. most of the Roma subway bombing was toyish... really ghetto, but i remember seeing some fresh Rews panels running since years!
  17. Nice that you loved Italy. I did myself a trip in 2001 from north to south , all of the major cities, and always used the train. It was delightfull each time i was going to a station, i always benched. When i had nothing to do, i was benching, especially in Roma, Termini station, where there was trains and subways. The king back then was Poison, with at least 1 piece each time i was taking the subway. Napoli was nice too, with the subway going to all the smaller cities around ( sorento is there, i went there its verry nice), and even Pompei... It was nice getting on a train pieced with all the tourists, going to visit the ruins ( if i remember well the name of that line circum something line) Even in Sicilia, there had pieced trains, and i took a boat coming from the continent to the island, with my train in it, with some3 or 4 lines too. So i was benching in the boat, with the trains inside. Anyway... a fucking nice trip...beautiful country+ graffiti on trains = success trip. I doubt that its still that bombed cause i heard they were buffing more theses days... but i guess you can still be impressed.
  18. i dont remember the name.. but yeah it was a nice site for subway rail fans
