  1. Leeho's don't spray on the wall, I don't know where you got that from.

As a marker, they're the same type as Zig Postermans or OTR's, the valve system with that nib style. They're probably most similar to OTR Mini HTB's, fit in your palm and whatnot. The nib is a little smaller than an OTR one, it's somewhere near as wide as a Pilot broad. They're good because they're so cheap and the size is perfect.

  2. Nah, not necessarily useless. Just a weak corossive.

My Leeho's came the other day and I'm pretty stoked on this shit. They're pocket sized, fit in the palm of your hand, the nibs somewhere near as fat as a Pilot broad, and hopefully I'll be getting nice drips with that shit soon because I pulled a valve mod.

    I need PP...

  3. No first hand info, but make sure the nail polish remover does contain acetone because alot of them don't nowadays. Using nail polish remover instead of Acetone should be somewhere along the same lines as using isopropyl rubbing alcohol instead of denatured alcohol. The formers are more watered down and have shit you don't need in them as opposed to the latters, but they should get the job done anyway...

Myself, I'd rather just use a big container of den. Alcohol or Aceetone instead of the household alternative.

  4. See, they call it a "paint" marker but by paint they mean waterbased shit which in turn flows alot easier through the nibs than the oil-based paint we're accustomed to.

If you want to use bucket paint, put it in a mop.

  5. Did a little research and found out that potassium permanganate is soluble in acetone, yet only decomposed by alcohol. My question for 60F1 is, wouldn't it be better to disolve the PP in acetone rather than alcohol, and than add it to your recipe? Seems like killing two birds with one stone, almost.

  6. Spilling Garvey or Fiebing's in your kitchen sink is the worst. If you can get away with using someone else's bathroom sink, preferably the gas station's or your local Wendy's, there is no reason to fret about messes and spilled inks. I guess I've just gotten super careful, though.

  7. I've always heard whisperings that black isn't as hard staining as purple, not even as good as black Griffin in fact. No first hand info, though.

If you can't get purple, you could get red like chumba said. But don't sleep on blue if you can get that too. Preferably the darker blues, I think the colors called navy blue.

In theory brown would be hard staining because it's the combination of all color pigments. HOVIE used to do that shit, I think.

    Nope, gotta be oil based.

You can use those squeeze acrylic bottles for spaghetti sidewalk tags. They don't fade, but they're not that hard to remove. If you master using the squeeze bottle, you can get some really nice results.

OKAY - to clear up the Garvey thing, I doubt it was fake ink. Garvey seems to be only good on metal for me and nothing else. This is why I now think it's best to mix it rather than use straight Garvey.
