this might already been covered but I don't remember, can I add something to india ink to make it more permanent that will flow through a pilot jumbo?

I tried gluing a patch of felt on the top of the polish applicator, where the sponge used to be, it held up last night but don't know if it will keep holding

anybody care to let me know if mineral spirits will eat through super glue, and if you can I eraser felt for a nib on my mop (and have thinned paint get through)?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made a kiwi mop and used mineral spirits to thin the ink and it ate through the glue on the applicater....anybody know how to prevent that?
