where can i get photoshop cs2 or cs3? i tried downloading it multiple times from limewire etc. but it always seems to be bugged. i open it up and it just freezes. oh yea, and it has to be free :D

well you have to look for youself depending on your needs. high end/low end/medium do you need it bulletproof. are you going to shoot sports. etc. look at nikon canon and pentax. you really cant go wrong anywhere in their dslr lines.

wow, i really like the polaroids. i haven't shot abstract in a while but here are a couple oldies. this thread really makes me want to get back into abstract photography.

i use a nikon fe2 with various color films and also a d2oo. for that last one i used a cokin p filter to make it like that. it works especially well if the sky would be blown out otherwise.

finally fixed my bike. heres a couple....about 200 more photos to look through now haha. its a good thing most of them are touristy shots.

went into the bike shop today and the guy was building a custom full size folding bike. it fit into this little 3x1.5 or so briefcase-type thing. all titanium and carbon. it was beautiful.

trying to get my bike off the disabled list is really cutting into my photo-editing time. first/only shot i have edited from my san fran trip so far.

i can help you..what exactly are you confused on? nothing new really. i have shot maybe 10 frames in the last 2 weeks; no time whatsoever. road trip to san francisco and oregon/california border coming up this next week though. should be lovely.. :D eric, one of the guys that helps out at the soup kitchen i volunteer for.

So after a long time deciding, and trying out probably 15 bikes or so, i ended up getting this... raleigh rush hour. its about half stock with some upgrades to the seat/post, bars, cog, chainring and brakes. also i just put some platform-style pedals for the commute. after a week and a half of riding it, i have to say its probably the most amazing bike i have ever been on. it rides 1000x better on the streets of los angeles than my old geared did. also, midnight ridazz and critical mass in los angeles are ridiculously fun to ride in.

The reason for this is because in our dreams, with don't have physical reinforcement to our punches. For example, when we hit someone in real life, we feel our fists hitting the person and that is how we know how hard we hit them. In our dreams, it feels to us that we are just 'punching air' so that any punches we land feel like we didn't even hurt them at all. :D

^most modern film (and even the center weighted in my nikon FE2) light meters are good enough where you will not need to buy an off camera meter. i believe that the canon ae's had a pretty nice center weighted meter as well. I'm not saying that off camera meters are a bad buy, just that it might not be the perfect route to go for everyone. Now i strictly use spot meter on my digital and it works perfectly. I definitely agree though that many people are idiots when it comes to using meters...and waiting for the shot. ive gone out with people that have taken over 200 shots when im still on my 10th. at that point it becomes more about luck than actually knowing how to compose a photo.

a kid i know that lives near the soup kitchen i volunteer at. dylan, for all those photos, the one thing i would say is to watch your highlights and shadows. try to get a more balanced image. the black and white isn't too bad but even in that one there is a lot of blown out area. what kind of camera/lens are you using?

i suppose most of these hats are pretty fresh as long as you dont walk around looking like this. only fitted caps i own are the blue and blackout dodgers hats theo posted.

gallery wrap? any local framing store will be able to do custom or precut mats. just matted a 12x18 for around 10 bucks, including foam backing. i have a mat cutter too, but i really havent tried it out yet. or if you want to support shitty chain stores, michaels and aaron bros also can do them
