  1. i got off the phone with the credit card company, the dudes ran a $438.55 tab at the gas station...the fucking gas station!!..how can you run that much at a gas station...they have spent more, shes gonna call me back and tell me the locations.

well that's really good news, right?

You can find out which places they went to, and they will surely be on numerous surveillance cameras. Now you have faces, and can get people to give you names, phone numbers, addresses etc.

sounds like they were just as stupid as you.

They weren't content with all your thousands of dollars worth of mad shit, so they got greedy and did the stupidest thing they could have done - posted their faces on numerous video cameras while using YOUR(parents') credit card.

    they are fucked.

This may sound a bit harsh, but i'm with casek. I simply couldn't give a fuck that you lost all your stuff. Not because I'm jealous or don't like you - just that you sound as though you never really/still dont appreciate just how fortunate you are.

Forget this "upper middle class" bullshit, cos you are FUCKING LOADED by the sounds of it.

Like someone said before, God has given you a big chance in life. This has the potential to be one of the best things that has ever happened to you. If you can somehow make your way back to where you were, with absolutely NO HELP from ANYONE else, then you will be a changed person. good luck

    also. .

  2. Wings of Honneamise(sp), Ghost In The Shell, Spirited Away

pretty mainstream movies except for Wings.

Castle of Cagliostro amused me too.

Spirited Away was released in cinemas, it is fucking brilliant.Getsomeinterryeerrr

    favourite anime serieseses:

    - Macross Plus !!! (best soundtrack. . .in anything. . .ever)

    - Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex

    - Cowboy Bebop (series. I have the movie too, but haven't watched it yet.)

    - Macross Zero (not yet finished showing in Japan. They are releasing one episode every 6 months or thereabouts, and though only two episodes have been released so far it is shaping up bloody awesome.)

I liked the Patlabor movies as well (havent' seen the third one yet). They are cool mecha stuffs, but not in the traditional massive-robot-driven-by-crazy-child-with-crazy-unknown-destiny-and-twist-of-fates-love-story Gundam style type thingo. Instead its deep sorta crime-mystery stuff and as such is pretty damn class. Brilliant shootout sequences as well.

I hear FLCL and LA Blue Girl are the absolute shiznits of badass shiznits, though i haven't had the chance to see them yet.

I watched a bit of Serial Experiments Lain, and though crazy and intriguing, it was very slow paced. I might have to dig it out again sometime.

Had a browse around for some flicks of this guy's work, I think they're worth seeing. Pretty sure he came to Melbourne a few years back, and has been to various other places in the US and Europe.

So if you have flicks, post them up.

from older to newer (all flicks stolen from graffiti.org and escapism)

  4. ok, this far kid might be stupid and all. . . but it is obvious why he is saying what he is saying. This kind of "street art" is not what a whole bunch of people would drop under the classification of what is accepted as "traditional graffiti", just as these artists (Dan Witz and co.) are not what many would call "graffiti writers". This is simply because they are not highly involved in letters. They don't do burners or throw-ups, they don't tag with a handstyle. That is what many (especially younger) writers consider to be graffiti.

I guess these days the whole idea of what is graffiti is continually changing and evolving. Steet art often has a very political motivation behind it, as does graffiti. And more recently, many graffiti writers/artists etc. are adapting their skills to what many people in the mainstream would not classify as "graffiti". I guess the line between the two is being blurred more and more these days, as we see more negative, harsher public perceptions of what graffiti is, and writers searching for a way to be heard without being thrown under the heading of "gang member" or "dangerous criminal" or whatever.

People are scared of writers, but I don't think they are as scared of "street artists" like Dan Witz - maybe just a little confused, or at times even enlightened.

    /end rant.

  5. alright i'm gonna try this.. . .
