  1. Haha yes, just keep going even though you don't feel like you're learning anything. Until one day someone else new turns up and they remind you of how retarded you were when you started and you realise you're no longer the worst person there. I don't understand what you mean by tailored though?
  2. If you're thinking about doing it, just go and do it. You'll still wish you started earlier... Grappling itself will make you stronger, particularly if you're not exercising a lot already. Bodyweight exercises are good. Strength helps when you don't have technique but at the beginning you're far better of concentrating on getting better. Most people seem to train 3-5 times a week, and it's incredibly tiring and will take up a lot of time. Also, remember when you start training you're not going to have a clue what you're doing. For a long time. It's fine, everyone expects this.
  3. You can but it's still super distinctive. The same way you can recognise Sony, Leica etc. I think it's because I;ve always used Canon it takes a bit of getting used to. The wifi, apart from being a little bit clunky, is a really useful feature.
  4. I’ve had the X-Pro2 for a few months and really enjoying it. The size, the feel, the dials and buttons etc. Also, compared to say, Canon, the lenses are super affordable. I’m taking way more photos these days. Its a tiny bit big with the 16mm lens on but a lot less conspicuous when compared to a full on dslr, which would be about 3x the size. Also the electric shutter means it’s silent and so you can hit a whole new level of candid shots without people. I wish the the video quality wasn’t so shit. Assume it’s the lack of IS that does it but can get better footage off my phone. Also sometimes it’s image rendering feels a bit too dramatically Fuji. But the fact it almost feels like a film camera also is a bonus.
  5. This is vaguely related to this thread...I started drinking coffee about 5 years ago for supposed health benefits and to assist with intermittent fasting. My natural tolerance to caffeine is low but a typical day would be between 5-10 cups and think I became addicted to the jittery feeling. Morning anxiety slowly crept up on me and I couldn't figure out why it was happening but it became normal so I lived with. I eventually gave up coffee completely after wanting to for over a year - but struggled because it's free at work (and so delicious). Within a few days I was going to sleep because I felt sleepy (not just because it was late and was worried about not getting enough sleep), sleeping deeper, waking up earlier more refreshed and the morning anxiety had 90% gone. It hindsight, it seems obvious but it became a normal feeling I didn't really realise what was happening. Anyway, after a couple of weeks I've gone back to a more normal sensible probably about 4 cups per week. So yeah, if you notice you feel like shit all the time - try cutting out any stimulants.
  6. I know this goes without saying but the police in your country are beyond belief. In europe you obviously get police who act like douchebags but I've never seen or heard anything like the scale of america. random killings, tazings, violence, arrests, brutality. Hopefully america gets a grip of its police force and this shit comes to an end and one day you can tell your grandkids about the kind of shit that used to happen in the old days and they will think you were a bad ass for surviving.
  7. Funniest thing i've seen in a while... A mockumentary about a West London pirate radio crew which started off as a youtube mini-series... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14D2WFuLCWo And has just been picked up by the BBC for a pilot: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p00v5jj0/People_Just_Do_Nothing/ (You may need to be in UK to watch BBC)
  8. Yeah fucking loved Drive. And the 80's soundtrack.

  10. ‎"Why did one straw break the camels back? Here's the secret - the a million other straws underneath it...it's all mathematics" There aren't actually any reports saying the police were fired at as far as I am aware. Although they did recover a gun.
  11. Thanks man, i did it using option 1. Didn't take long at all. Funny how much quicker/easier it was to get Windows 7 illegally than when I paid for it. Just copying everything back on to the laptop...
  12. What's up dudes! I gave in and bought a 500 gig hd for my laptop to replace the 140gig as I was sick of not being able to have all my music, photos and programs on my laptop. I'm ok with opening my laptop and switching the drive but I don't know what the deal is with the OS. My laptop was Vista but I upgraded to windows 7 when I was a student for £25. When I switch the hard drives, what is going to happen to Windows? My current hard drive has got one of those small parttions for system files but I son really understand it. Gracias.
  13. Of course it's real. Don't act tough. It's a grown man who seems to have at least some training on how to fight, plus a significant weight advantage over all of them. Against 5 dudes who obviously are not able to defend themselves. In any way. Doubt any of them could throw a real punch with any weight. Yeah they should have jumped him but they look like teenage emo's and clearly don't want any violence. I dunno would have had some respect if it had been him trying to fight some grown ass men. I hope there is a sequel with 5 true street brawlers stomping him out.
  14. Ok I have opened it up, do I need to buy something like this? Everything seems to be in working order.
  15. Thanks man, i was hoping for an answer along those lines. I had a similar thing a few years ago with a laptop and got an enclosure and it worked out ok but it was a different type. Will give it a go, might have to come back for help though. thanks again.
  16. Yo whats popping, need some advice on my hard drive issues. I have one of these.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seagate-FreeAgent-Desktop-External-7200RPM/dp/B000NZOBYS The USB dock inside the hard drive has come detached from the actual hard drive it self. So I opened it up (theres some photos on there that i dont have a back up of) it was attached next to the power connecting bit. The actual metal dock for the USB thing originally had 5 teeth. 3 of them were still attached the dock. 2 are still stuck on the HD. I also now seem to have lost the little metal dock part now. Can I buy a replacement one from somewhere and pay a repair person to reattach it and hope my data is ok? Or ideally open up the case and get a new enclosure of some sort? Any help is much appreciated.
  17. Some of you might like this.... PEOPLE JUST DO NOTHING http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6Cdy-593IA Would be interesting to see what americans think of this. Set in and around London, mocking the old pirate radio scene. funny shit.

  19. My friend bought back one of these from work... Someone form his work was gonna throw it out cos it stopped working. It's only a couple of months old but doesn't appear when you connect it to a computer. The little light comes on and it does some whirring sounds when you connect the USB but nothing else happens. Anything I can try to revive it?
  20. Is there a way to 'fit image to page' on Google Chrome? I know there is no 'set image as background' feature but this seems retarded that I cant even look at a big picture without pressing ctrl - repeatedly... ?
  21. Any of you people recommend any cooking websites? I tend to only really check epicurious...
