I agree, over 90% of radio hip hop is fucking garbage. The Game album has to be seen for what it is, a West Coast gangster pop album, and it did what it attempted to do with more success than anyone since Chronic 2001. Obviously, the beats make the album, The Game is a walking generic stereotype, but he does it well. MF Doom on the other hand has all the flamboyancy of Guru [nil], and discusses topics in such an abstract fashion that I can never be fucked working out what point he is getting at.
