Gr8 thread. My local gang of somalian coke dealers used to stand opposite my house all night selling drugs, drinking and shouting. It used to keep me up at night a couple nights a week. I thought about smearing some really fucking ripe brie in some cutty little spots near their hangout but I never did. They were there for two summers, then the gang turf war just naturally moved them on because they are gone now.

I should add, the good thing about doing it with tortelloni, is that because it is fresh, the whole prep the night before only takes about 5 mins. 2 Mins to boil the water, 2 mins to cook the pasta, 1 min to assemble. This was the reason i stuck with the regime, because it was a piece of piss.

Same thing every day though. Also, whats on friday, lunch out? I used to make tortelloni the night before, then dump it in a tupperware, on top of a whiole bunch of baby spinach with some of my homemade tomato sauce and some fresh tomatos. Take it to work, put in the microwave, the spinach cooks while the pasta reheats, the tomatoes get hot, dump in a bowl, bit of chilli sauce lovely.

When I used to go to food fairs with the ice cream people would be begging me to swap shit too. CURRYWURST MY FAVOURITE FOOD:

I spent this summer working at this ice cream parlour in north London: http://www.rubyviolet.co.uk If you are ever in the area then I suggest you get in there. Here are some pics... This was orange ice cream with chocolate chips (more like drizzled melted chocolate onto freshly churned orange ice cream) with home made candied orange peel. Obviously I got to eat as much as I wanted and was constantly trying to find perfect combinations. 1 Baby scoop each of blackcurrant sorbet, strawberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream. FUCKING A. Decorations on a cake made of ice cream: You cant really see but in the top right corner is one made from honey from bees on Hampstead Heath. This was by far and away the most delightful ice cream we did. Honey ice cream is truly one of the fucking wonders of the world.

My argument for open faced sandwiches is that you get all the filling and no bread, and it is not really frowned upon to eat as many as you can.

Few more... This was in Barcelona, basically the freshest juiciest Spanish tomatoes smooshed all over a baguette, with olive oil and salt and pepper.

Hope these tumblr links work: I lived in Sweden for a while and got hooked on open faced sandwiches, which the Scandinavians do very well. More often than not, the simpler the better.

Some LOLZ in this thread. I have always had a penchant for older yats. My current squeeze is older, but only a couple of years. But I can say that in my experience women become more sexually liberated and generally better in bed in their mid to late twenties. I can't honestly imagine anything worse than banging a boring 18 year old aside from the body/freshness etc.
