  1. well, being that I've never spent more than a few years in any give place and for the sake of being thorough, I'm splitting this into two posts of all the places I'm from. after all the topic doesn't stipulate 'where are you live right now ;)' all these flicks were ganked, so I hope they work. part 1 before I moved to america k, was squeezed out and raised here: then I moved here for quite a while: then this place for a minute: back here again: and then a few more years here before hoping the pond:

  3. I've always known I was a bit off the deep end, but my dreams confirm that on the regular. they're generally so disturbing, that I'd rather not post them. I will share a sequence of ongoing dreams I've been having lately, sans the details... lately I've been having two seperate dreams, which seem to tie together quite well occasionally. one being the mega-ultra-uber-future-4000. basically a psuedo-'rise of the machines' bit. it always ends with me riding into the middle of the pacific almost to hawaii on a mech-dolphin/jet ski organismachine hybrid thing and meeting some pathetically hot asain girl, james bond style. drinking champagne together and shit. but right before we get down to some real spy vs spy action (which btw is some sadistic shit) a mech-great white comes out of nowhere and rips her apart. then I do some fucked up shit with the remains that we won't get into. the other being post-apocolyptic time. my neighborhoods and the rest of the world strung by wastelands, loose technology and and a plague of bacteria quite similiar to ebola, which rots/eats at your body from the inside out. I seem to think this dream is some sort of continuation of the last, but they never seem to flow directly into each other. I really can't even get into this one at all. it's pure sadism. but yeah. those are the two most frequent ones ilve been having recently. thankfully I haven't dreamt of anything else. the rest of my dreams scare the living doodoo out of me
  4. he's from austin, indeed. I believe he is shooting for his 7th win at france this year. madness. pmb, yeah, ilm pretty sure I've bumped into her once. didn't chat too much other than about a wedding that was going on in the atrium. the rain last night was pleasantly welcomed. I've only been in town a week and I was chuffed about the rain. can't imagine what it must of been like going 35 days without it. I've become so used to it raining on a daily basis since I moved to FL.
  5. Soco district? Alamo drafthouse is fucking awesome. Have you gone to any of the special shows they put on at the downtown location? I mean more than the new releases. Check out their website if you haven't: www.alamodrafthouse.com. And I'd love to grab a beer, but chances are I won't be going out this weekend. I have to make a concerted effort to be a study monster the next two weeks. How often do you make it to Austin (although I'm assuming this is your first time here)? Other spots to check out: - new Whole Foods world headquarters at 6th and Lamar. - South Congress area - UT campus - watch the bats leave the Congress bridge at sunset - head to Mt. Bonnel at sunset Quoted post [/b] I've been to austin twice before this. just in overnight to play a show then fly out the next morning. this is the first time I've had a chance to actually get around and see the city. I'm staying/working at the omni downtown on 8th/7th so it's nice being right in the middle of things. ::congress bridge bats I've done. ::whole foods I've done ::south congress area has been hit up extensively (someone reffered to it as the SoCo district/area???) ::hit up waterloo ::haven't made it to either mt. bonnet or to UT campus, yet. planning on doing both before I leave. ::one of my ex's sister is in the roller derby action on sundays. more than likely going to catch that. ::need to hit up at least 30 more bars. the deubachery level is still far from complete. the only thing I've caught at alamo so far is land of the dead. a friend said that I absolutely have to go catch this flick done by a local guy?! not sure of his name or of the flick, unfortunately. starting this trip, I'm here once a year for the next 3. no worries about the studying bit, I definitely/sadly know how that goes. if for some reason your books find themselves flung across the room and you decide on a pint, I'm near always game. anything else worth a walk from downtown? perhaps even a cab/bus ride?! also... is the 'iron city brewery' (fek, I think that's its name) on 5th and tritinty actually a brewery? cheers
  6. that was a really dissapointing answer. I already know why mum takes it in the bum funnel
  7. I've been in austin about a week and a hald or so on business and I must admit, at first, I thought there was nothing special about this city what so ever. but every night as I've wandered around for a couple of hours after work.... it's actually started growing on me quite a bit. I was actually quite suprised how layed back things are here. wasn't expecting everyone to be as chill as they are. found four handfuls of rad bars and one or two decent clubs. the alahmo draft house has got to be the fucking coolest theater I've been to in years. haven't ventured too far out of downtown yet. mostly up the soco district (think that's what it's called) really wished I had more time off work to really dig around. pmb, if you're out on the piss one night between now and tuesday-ish, let me know. a round or five are on me
  8. I really hope that v.2.0.1 beta has a "no-pulp" function. I'd definitely buy one then
  9. you think? that's too bad. I was really hoping you and I could chip in on one together Quoted post what happened to your old one? or was that for your old room mate "PARTY'S OVER GUYS!"? or did you guys share? Quoted post [/b] hahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahaahhaahahahha BWHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAH LOLLSWTFUSHAHAHAHAH oh man... "parties over guys" -wait, what party? it's just rom and sara "I don't fucking care. it's fucking 5 in the morning and I have to be up for work in 3 hours" -it's only 3 "I don't care. your friends have got to leave. I'm sick and tired of your friends always being here" -but your friends were here last drinking all my beer "fuck this, I'm sick of this bullshit" -yo, didn't you just call mickey on his cellphone from the otherside of the house to tell him to turn it down? hahah. what a fucking cunt. I wouldn't share my used toilet paper with that wench. no less my ultra lap juicer 1000. you have to see the house now. it looks like a decor page from a wal-mart magazine. so trashy. aparently she got mickey to agree on painting their room pink! I wonder if he even has any balls left at all what a joke
  10. you think? that's too bad. I was really hoping you and I could chip in on one together
  11. is being able to contract/expand your asshole, in order to accomodate larger peniseses, considered a magic trick?

  13. well, that definitely explains it
  14. we live in a fucked up world. a lot of people probably assume that this is some sort of GA summit protest. but this morning while drinking coffee, smoking a cig and sitting on the bog, I gave it a bit more thought. 2012 olympic host city will be announced in a couple of days (I believe. I know it's soon) of the 5 cities rallying to be host; madrid, new york and london are included. all of which have been subject to terrorism. leaving moscow and paris as the only two 'safe' options. still contemplating how this may all fit together. but the commi's and french are regarded as equally shiest. who knows this truly is sad, though

  16. 7k in a little over a year isn't too shabby at all. time does fly, though. I remember the day you started this name. think that was around the time the 'pics of hot girls' thread only had a handful of pages and tesseract chopped the shell of the turtle of with a mower.
  17. I used to read mag very occasionally before I moved to the states, the few times I could find it back home. during casual conversation with a friend in about 99/00 he mentioned there was a 12oz forum. toggled between a couple names for a while. lurked. postmania. lurk. repeat. I still go on tangents when I post like madness for a few weeks, then dissapear into the shadows. could never totally avoid 12oz. I would be easy to argue that it's one of the better forums on the world wide intraweb.
  18. maybe living in new orleans for seven years is what leads me to say this, but guns are actually a solid investment. they (generally) never decrease in value. the first principle of purchasing any sort of asset. when I bought my glock, I paid around 325 for it. I could sell it for (easily) 475 today, if I wanted to.
  19. the absolute fucking winner
  20. it was only a matter of ti.....
