It's amazing how dope of a painter you can be without really having a good letter style. I would just say go simple. As simple as you possibly can. Your painting skills will make up for the lack of "flare." While doing that, work in your blackbook to create a style that's attractive. Study styles but don't bite. Find what you like about them and then build off of them.

I like the "D." I'm with the different styles and all but it looks like you couldn't do that really fast without stray lines here and there.
