I was talking about this video with my girlfriend tonight. I told her about how that article described that the lady was identified and subsequently disapeared, leaving her family worried. I honestly hope she died. I'm not sure if I've ever felt this way before.

1. Yes, it is way over diagnosed. The problem lies in the fact that Psychologists can not prescribe medications. That means, you have to go to a medical doctor to get meds, and many people end up skipping seeing a psychologist at all. Medical doctors simply have to broad of a job and a required knowledge base to be able to accurately diagnose mental disorders during a short interview/meeting, which is what happens. 2. My opinion is research based, which is quite different than people that just have a opinion based on anecdotal evidence.

Tell me at least ONE of you has some sort of degree in Psychology, and you're not just like every other person that has an opinion on something and is "sure that's the way it is". Have you ever compared multiple MRI's of children with AD/HD with those that do not have it? Do you understand how a child qualifies for this label? Have you read *peer reviewed journal articles* (not Women's Gossip Weekly) on the current research about AD/HD? It may be over-diagnosed, and yes, there are undoubtedly people that abuse the meds. Keep in mind, not ALL AD/HD meds are amphetimines. I was reviewing the file of a girl earlier today who's primary disability is AD/HD, and is currently taking Strattera, Seroquil, Lithium Bicarbonate, and four other meds/hormones. Personally, I don't think that could possibly be good for a kid. Then again, I don't have a doctrate in medicine, so I refrain from pushing my opinion to be fact. This thread pops up every few months, and for some reason there's always at least a few people who are certain whatever type of mental disorder is "made up". Seriously do some legit research on it before you start rambling.

People that get barbs in their feet are probably stepping on varieties of stingrays that have spikes on them. When they hit with their tails, it is going to be 6" above the foot (minimum). I'm guessing you didn't actually see the footage. He doesn't dangle his baby in front of a crocodile. He has it *near* a crocodile, but it's not like he's putting his child in danger.
