I remember he stopped eating, and I would lay on the floor and try to feed him Cheez-Its, they were his favorite. Eventually we took him to the vet and they put him down. It's tough to lose a pet, even more difficult when you watch them waste away. If you have another cat or are thinking about getting one, wait a few months, make sure you wash everything really well.

I think perhaps this sentence sums it up best. And let's not forget Gkae as far as well to do writers. It's not like there aren't rich writers that have contributed more than their fair share to the scene.

Yeah, I saw all of that. But it wasn't really directed to the consumers of World of Warcraft. That was something they could laugh at and say, "Oh yeah, I know those guys are out there." It's not insulting, except to a few players. What it did do is show 2+ minutes of game play and probably picque the interest of a couple million people. South Park definitely did not attack WoW like they have other celebrities/beliefs/etc.

I'm glad someone brought this up. I've fucking hated Dane Cook since I saw him on tv a few years back. That "over the top comedy without actually being funny" bit is fucking lame. He's worse than Margaret Cho or Lisa Lampinelli. Or Carlos Mencia. Or those blue collar faggots.

I wish they had actually made fun of the game, instead of promoting it. I'm not aware of any other time South Park has actually worked with a company in designing an episode around their product. They took some shots, and overall it was a spoof, but nothing offensive relative to South Park.

Relatively violent countries such as the U.S. will have "relatively" violent schools (some shootings each year). A few simple deductions should have you at the conclusion that the less violent a country is in terms of crime, the fewer at school incidents there will be. And I can almost guarantee you that a school shooting in another country will not make headlines here, unless it's major. I don't think you'll find a country that doesn't have a crime rate and school shooting rate that are very similar.

Schools are safe. What other place do 55 million people go to for 6+ hours a day, 180 to 200 days a year, with <20 deaths from shootings a year? Honestly. Media sensationalization at its finest.

That "classic" controller will only be for "certain" games- primarily the ones from old Nintendo systems that you can download online for $5 to $10 each. That's why Nintendo is steering away from advertising the "classic controller"; it will be incompatable with many of the new games (i.e. Super Smash Brothers). I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the "World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade" expansion is slated to release a few days before the Wii and the PS3. I think that is gonna put a serious damper on sales.
