Makes me so happy that you did this. At the moment, the rescue I work at and the other rescues I volunteer and work with are desperately in need of fosters. So many dogs who are highly adoptable are being euth listed. I went to one of the worst kill shelters in the San Bernadino area last week and pulled 2 beautiful Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mixes who were schedules to be killed for having kennel cough. Since then, we received an email letting us know that many of the crying faces I saw have now been killed. Everyday my phone is flooded with calls, txts, emails, and DMs from people begging to please help so many dogs but we simply do not have the room because we are foster based. PLEASE if you can host a dog or puppy in need for 2-4 weeks and you are in the LA area, please please please reach out to me (we supply everything).

You are a fucking rock star. It’s easy for us to rescue the dogs and adopt them out but the in between which would be finding the fosters is where we have the most difficulty. Without fosters we cannot pull dogs off the euthanasia list, we can’t intake dogs from the Chinese dog meat trade, or take in all the medical issue dogs from Mexico. if you have the space for a couple of weeks, volunteer to foster (rescues will supply you with everything). 🙏🏼❤️🥰🐶😍

As most of you know I rescue dogs and find homes for them. About 3 weeks ago, I drove to the middle of nowhere butt fuck Egypt just outside Los Angeles and picked up a litter of puppies. I decided to foster one and failed miserably. Welcome to the fam Kombu. She is 11 weeks old now, my pitbull/Queensland heeler mix. 100% asshole. Nori is a pitbull/dachshund mix and 11 years old now.
