A classic! Norm in SF 1999.

Stupid brilliant. It stands out in a crowd of cloned styles, inspired from a less appreciated niche of the world we call graffiti. It's funny vandalism, that's why I like it. Have fun or get out, life's too short too get your panties in a bunch because someones style isn't trendy in the right kind of trendy way.

Up the punks! This guy is a living model of what punk is to me. I have a whole bunch of pictures of REVS pages and sculptures, and I am really feeling all of them. When I clicked this thread I was hoping that REVS had published a book of all of his tunnel writings, but that doesn't seem like it would really happen. Post some more, and I'll scan some of mine.

Go fuck off:lol: From the looks of things the new graffiti in the Santa Cruz area kinda blows.

For the six years I lived in the 408, which is now the 831, I saw some good bombing. It was by no means like what San Francisco was at that time but it was getting well painted and there were lots of tags. BWS wall had new stuff all the time too. I have hundreds of pictures to back up what I'm telling you.
hahahaha J.Carlos.. I hope that the guy who's site this came from is a cop.
I don't know about the 831 scene in 2003, but back in 96 it was pretty good. Tits, DSM, TGB, DTC, FTL, CMA, BH, and a ton of others got their starts there and brought it to the steel, streets of their own cities, and other larger cities. For a city of it's size Santa Cruz has been pretty well painted in the past, and the surrounding freight spots got crushed.
Judging by what I've seen on the net the liberals went fascist and have called for a graffiti free Santa Cruz. So much for free thought. Here's a few I found around the net.

Espo vs. Swatch was a classic alt.graffit moment, and you can't forget Jelo.

Hahaha.. alt.graffiti flash backs.
I was just remembering that kook Augi the other day when I spotted a rooftop that said AFTER. That's what that guy used to allegedly write. Sounds like there are some old alt.graffiti peoples on here.

"Pocket Full of Fat Caps" by Downset
I forget but I think Axis CBS was/is in that band.

There is a song on Return of the DJ by some guys from Holland. It was put out by Bomb Records. That song is a crazy mix of graffiti rhymes.
Oh yeah, Pharcyde too.
Digable... those guys fell off hard. When I was living in PDX Doodlebug was playing at one of the strip clubs up there. Passed on that one..

That Lewis reminds me of a turd left floating in the bowl. Nasty!:D

Musical Dick Sling, that's what MDS used to mean when i used to write it long ago. Then I found out about the European dudes who were in Defrag magazine, and the VA/DC writers so I dropped it. MDS.. I liked some of the stuff I saw.
