    Donnie Darko

yeah, they did memento too, and the center of the world site. pretty talented people. I like the way their work is very interactive. It always has this creepy air to it, but it might just be that the movies the sites were done for had their own creepieness to them...

    Donnie Darko

I saw this movie last week and I thought it was incredible. It also has a great soundtrack. I can't stop listening to the tears for fears cover done by Gary Jules of Mad World. The movie and soundtrack are both now on my have to buy list. Has anyone else seen it? I'd never heard of it until my boyfirend brought it home. It was one of those great messed up little films that I need to see again to fully appreciate. The website's nice too although it seems to be a bit too close to the memento and requiem for a dream sites. http://www.donniedarko.com/
  5. I'm thinking it's probably harder than it looks (judging it perfectly to get that big rock in that little circle). I think I would probably suck at it.

    getting robbed

two guys I know got shot earlier this month when robbers broke into their house. The robbers only took a playstation.
  7. My where the wild things are toys and my 10 piece cooking pot set
  8. I like guys with long hair, as long as it isn't limp dirty and GREASY. Greasy hair is disgusting. It's hard to say whether you should cut it or leave it long without a picture. My hair looked terrible long so I cut really short (not butch short though, I don't like that either). If you keep your hair long, keep it clean.
  9. http://www.bitterfilms.com/anesthetics.html really funny cartoons http://www.metafilter.com funny links and news http://www.hydro74.com nice
  10. i love cuddling, but not after sex. my boyfriend gets all hot and sweaty and unless he takes a shower or put a sheet between us it's just gross.
  11. that's my best friends birthday. Thanks for reminding me :)
  12. seems like an awful lot of us were born around the first part of december :) Haven't there been at least two other birthday posts in the last 2 weeks? Sagittarius all the way. Happy birthday.
  13. One track mind. at least we can always count on teaser to be consistent. :P

It made me all happy and such.
  15. when they make a trip to my apartment they make a trip to her apartment. dad always slips us the same amount of money. they have not been paying my rent. I had money saved up from the job I lost to last me until now, plus I do a few odd jobs. The money dad has given me went to whatever. clothes, liquor, silly things I don't need and can do without. I gave back my car, my sister kept hers, plus they keep paying her parking tickets, gas and insurance (I always paid my own). Mom takes her shopping twice a month and buys all her clothes (mom hasn't bought me clothes since last spring). I cost a great deal less than my sister. So to sum up she is twice the financial drain I am because my father gave to both of us, but my mother gave to one (it's all dads money in the end). She is also two years older.
  16. I keep alternating between, my mom's a bitch and I should spend all her money, and I want to make mom feel like shit and not touch any of her money (or dads because he'll bring it up with her). I was an extremely spoiled kid and still would be if I wasn't so stubborn. They used to pay my visa bill and everything..... My boyfriend s mad because I don't have a job so unless a miracle happens I won't have rent for january. He can't believ I just refused about $400 total.
  17. this is a bad topic right now. A building is out of the question because I hate heights. I'd never be able to pull a guns trigger. I'll go for the pills in true female style.
  18. I had a rather large fight with my mother last wednesday at which time I stubbornly decided it was time to become self sufficient. Completely independant. I moved out on my own in spetember, lost my job half a month later, and have so far almost managed to pay for everything myself. However until this point I never refused the $150 my dad tucked into my hand every other week. T The fight with mom was over the sum of money I should recieve for my birthday. My sister had been given $500 by my parents, and mom was trying to give me $100. I just happeed to mention what my sister got, and mom freaked out. She was screaming about how I shouldn't have to compare everything (I also found out she was planning on taking jillyout shopping the next day). I haven't talked to mom since. She tried to put $150 in my account thurdsday, but I took it out and gave it to my sister (she was a bit shocked and confused). My dad came by today for my birthday with my nan, and sister (no mom) and tried to give me 200 or so $ which I flat out refused to take. he almost reduced me to tears for not taking it. I now feel like shit, but do not want a cent of their money. My boyfriend is mad at me for it, and my birthday sucked. I want to get loaded but have an exam tomorrow. I'm alternating between thinking I'm crazy, and feeling excelent for trying to support myself. I sound spoiled. I've decided this may be a bit hard, but I will come out of it with a stronger character with a significantly smaller wardrobe.
  19. No, no, no, no. I'm not talking about fast food plastic, rubbery breakfasts. I'm talking some kid in a kitchen cracking eggs, frying bacon, making breakfast for me like home cooked (but just a tad bit greasier).
  20. Whoever thought up this concept is my new favorite person in the whole wide world. Generally if I'm drinking and craving food in the middle of the night I'll grab a slice of pizza. unfortunately all the pizza joints were closed. We were at a party in the "bad" part of town and there was crazy cracked out ghetto restaurant right beside us so we went in and half the menu was dirt cheap 24 hour breakfasts. I now feel like staying up again tonight so I can go get someone to make me bacon and eggs at 4:30 am.
  21. I do that too (I forgot all about some of these things). I never thought of it as a problem, but I did do it today, I always do, It just never occured to me to eat them all haphazardly....
  22. Gum: I can't chew it for more than 30 seconds, then I throw it out and pop in another piece (this is the best with that goldrush nuggets gum that comes in the little cloth bag) Chocolate/bars: I have to eat all the chocolate off the outside (or at least the sides) before I can eat the inside (only works on bars with a different middle. Broccoli: must eat the leafy, nubbly top first, then the stem. Mom always told me not to play with my food, but I couldn't help it.
  23. North American Gorgonzola is terrible. At least the ones I've tried. In any case I am the cooking/baking queen (at this very moment I have a most wonderful chocolate cake in the oven, 2 kinds of chocolatey, fudgey icing on the counter and lots of cute decorating nibs to make it look pretty) yum yum. I have to say one of my favorite recipes is the Chicken Enchillada Casserole. It may look like a lot, but it's really easy, and it's so good. 6 Small Corn, or 3 large flour tortillas 1 lrg onion, diced 2 tbsp. oil 4 oz. can green chilis, seeded and finely chopped 10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup 2 cups grated cheese (cheddar or such) 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese 1 Cup salsa 3-4 cups cooked chicken, cut into large bite size pieces cut the tortillas into 6 pieces. saute onion in oil.Add chillis, soup, and half the grated cheeses. cook slowly until cheese melts. Line a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole with half the tortilla pieces. cover with 1/2 cup salsa layer with half the chicken, then half the cheese/mushroom sauce. Repeat layers. top with remaining grated cheeses. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes. let stand for 10 minutes. serves 6 (I think 3 is more reasonable, especially if you're feeding boys) I love this, but can only make it when I have friends over because my boyfriend can't have the cream of mushroom soup in it, and it isn't the same without it.
  24. And thanksgiving is in October. You Americans seem to be slow on the pick up  and while were bitching about peoples school lingo, It's a free, not a spare (class)
