Napoli took a high throw on a double play, jumped, caught it, and applied the tag to Holliday about two steps (he stutter-stepped) before he touched first base. Ump called him safe. From that point on, the game was over for the Rangers. The way they pitched the rest of the game pretty much determined the outcome. And speaking of Napoli, maybe he should catch from now on. Everybody was throwing meatballs with Torrealba behind the plate.

Umpires just ruined the whole game. Completely fucked that double play. Napoli had the tag on Holliday by a step.

Fortunately I was home in time to catch the entire 9th inning of Game 2. Great ball played by Texas. A lot of people making a big deal about Pujols fucking with the relay throw. Andrus wouldn't have advanced to second, meaning possibly extra innings, but Texas would have been favored to win with their bullpen. And Joe Buck is the worst person FOX could have calling the World Series. No excitement for the game (he's "flat") and that fucking monotone voice. I wish FOX would sign Jon Miller to a week contract to cover the rest of the series.

I'm predisposed to breaking every single watch I own. My parents gave me a Nixon for Christmas last year - just a basic one - "The Private". Come March, I went to set the time an hour forward for spring, and the fucking crown came right out. I didn't even bother filing a warranty claim because the overall cost of repair would probably exceed the price paid for the watch (neighborhood of $100). Needless to say I won't be buying a Nixon. Looking at Citizens, though. Might go with a fabric or leather band instead of metal.

I've put drinking behind me for now, but I've had a few NA beers as of late. Anybody in here dabble with the non-alcoholic variety? And if so, any suggestions? I find O'Doul's Amber to be pretty bland; some favorites of mine at this point are Kaliber and St. Pauli Girl NA.

I'm a bit disapoint that the ALCS game was around 4 PM EST today - what the fuck? And Delmonte hitting two HRs - again, what the fuck? He couldn't do that playing for the Twins. Not saying I wish he stuck around because his defense is, well, horrendous. But just seeing him take a 180 and make an impact with the Tigers is beyond me. I'm sure he's probably still dealing with the oblique strain, but to see him play through it and make such an offensive contribution is something we probably wouldn't have seen if he were still with the Twins. It just goes to show the Twins medical staff and managers are probably at fault. Doctors would have put him on the 14-day or whatever, and he would still be fucking around with that garbage swing he had here.

I was like "yeah!" when Napoli singled in Josh, but then I was like "OOOOH SHIIIIITTTTT" when Nelson hit the HR. Then I said something along the lines of Valverde not having any nuts in the post season. He juiced the bases in either game 1 or game 2.

Minnesota a bunch of new players and some young guys who came up from Houston, and we have a new coach. New system, moves a lot faster. Won 4-2 last night, albeit against the Blue Jackets, but Heatley, Setoguchi, Scandella, and Cullen all scored.

For $15 you should just play it. A lot of people have good things to say about Bioshock.
