The Caring Edition -
This year, the world was blindsided by one of most severe pandemics in recent history. Amidst the loss, sadness and anxiety, the human kind never loses sight of hope, perseverance and solidarity. As part of our humble support to the fight against the COVID-19, a special edition of the Engineer III Marvelight Chronometer, featuring a multi-colored dial and micro gas tubes, is born. CHF 300 will be donated to The Salvation Army for every piece of this special edition sold during the pre-order period. The watch that once ran America’s railroads now empowers world explorers to live freely, fearlessly and with a new purpose.

Blasting through the search results it seems that the old alpha battle threads are dead in the water and most of them were rather time restrictive and single letter threads.
This would be dope to bring back possibly with a more centralized thread instead of creating a new one every letter.
My thoughts are that we do a letter every 2 weeks which would fill out a year with Z carrying over, keep it to one thread that the title gets updated every other week. Anything goes, paper, digital, paint, sculpture, as long as you created it.
Judging - Could do set judges or just have it as a post ya letters type deal.
Any interest here or thoughts?

I have been buying a bunch of stuff from empty gas stations, if i need to go get groceries I will go during the week usually around 10am and scope out the few in my area and pick the emptiest one. I will bet anything the panic buyers are responsible for 70%+ of the spread.

I'm a believer in round consistency. I stick to the same thing, regardless of what is on sale. It's one thing for a range day when you're really just looking to blast through some rounds, but I like to count on my weapons performing in the exact way I've trained each time. Basically creating predictability when it is called for.
That isn't to say don't train with a variety of rounds and find what you are looking for, just know what is going to happen with what you're loading.
+1 to this, if I am just dumping rounds at the range its whatever.. and I get putting a bunch through to get used to the weapon and that's totally a good thing to do. But when it comes to defense, train and load a round that you are comfortable with and is predictable. I also always stick to one round for the magazines that I use for carry / defense.

XS Sights makes some pretty neato sights for quick acquisition which comes in handy if you are ever in a self defense scenario. They are not the most accurate for range, but I have them on my two carry pistols and they make em for shotguns too.

For a mossberg ^ (will vary on your stock sight mounting)

I think it's more serious than some of us are giving it credit for. They're saying scar tissue in the lungs is common for people that don't die and that usually means limited activity for the rest of your life. So yeah maybe not dead instantly but you don't get to go do any physical activity.
That's going to put a real damper on some of y'all's baitin activities.
I hope everyone stays safe.

I'm still kicking myself in the dick for not grabbing one of the Omega 50th anniversary Apollo watches. They have gone up so fast.

I havent had the pleasure of having a skeleton as of yet, I think with how the blue hands contrast it would be fine on this one.. they have other options. I am just super interested in a Swiss made Tourbillion for under $10k to be honest.
My issue is that there is always another watch I want that I dont need.. IE
Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum

@KILZ FILLZthe Ball is 42mm case its a bit thicc at 14.9mm but I am digging it.
I am considering copping one of those Horage Tourbillion 1 watches while they are still on a good preorder price.
