    Osama?

Maybe they like the idea that they are still being percieved by the world as a serious threat, and dont feel like disproving statements that perpetuate that idea. Why wouldnt Osama use the video cameras that he has used in the past? All of a sudden he's releasing poor quality audio tapes. What next? Hastily written messages on bar napkins that he wrote after having a few too many?

    Osama?

You're right, but i dont think they get the internet in their snake holes, and underground bunkers. Has Al Qaeda ever released information via the internet?

Maybe they have and no one is reporting it.

    Osama?

(01/19/06 -- DURHAM) - A Duke professor says he is doubtful about Thursday's audiotape from Osama bin Laden. Bruce Lawrence has just published Messages to the World: The Statements of Osama Bin Laden, a book translating bin Laden's writing. He is skeptical of Thursday's message. It was like a voice from the grave, Lawrence said. He thinks bin Laden is dead and has doubts about the tape. Lawrence recently analyzed more than 20 complete speeches and interviews of the al Qaida leader for his book. He says the new message is missing several key elements. There's nothing in this from the Koran. He's, by his own standards, a faithful Muslim, Lawrence said. He quotes scripture in defense of his actions. There's no quotation from the Koran in the excerpts we got, no reference to specific events, no reference to past atrocities.? While the CIA confirms the voice on the tape is bin Laden's, Lawrence questions when it was recorded. He says the timing of its release could be to divert attention from last week?s U.S. air strike in Pakistan. The strike targeted bin Laden's deputy, Ayman al-Zawahri, and killed four leading al Qaeda figures along with civilians. Lawrence believes faulty Pakistani intelligence led to the strike and the civilian deaths, and the tape was leaked by Pakistani authorities to divert attention from their mistake. It led to a failed military operation where America got blamed, but they people who are really to blame are the ones who provided the intelligence, Lawrence said. I think this is an effort to say were not going look at this terrible incident that happened. Another element that Lawrence takes issue with in bin Laden's latest message is its length - - only 10 minutes. Previously, the shortest was 18 minutes. source

well.. there is no doubt in my mind that is not a walkie talkie, but a pipe. But i dont take this shit seriously, i dont obsess over it for weeks on end, i just find it interesting that our government is so deeply obsessed with ancient pagan gods and symbols. Its worth talking about. you're obviously a dis-information agent.

On the "owl". Heres the deal as far as i can tell. Why do all these dudes worship the owl? Well, first and foremost I think its roots are in ancient egyptian mythology, which it would appear these guys strongly believe in. The owl is the egyptian symbol for the sound "m" as in "Mason". Im not so sure about the owl representing "satan" or "molech", but it wouldnt suprise me seeing as they are making mock (?) sacrifices to it every year. These guys are very into symbolism. And it creeps me the fuck out.

Stan Tookie Williams: founder of the crips

well.. it seems you guys are gettin pretty deep... this has nothing to do with whether or not the death penalty is a good idea... Last night 4 dudes rolled around downtown oakland lighting trashcans on fire with molitov cocktails or something to that effect... they got quite a few of them. Yelling about how they shouldnt have killed tookie.. It was funny because it was as if they were trying to start a riot, but, if any of you have been in downtown oakland you know that there are about a total if 15 people in the whole area at any given time of night, so... Yeah, no riot.
