  3. you sure? I thought I looked into it once and they arent... skunks are defintely illegal here, hedgehog was my second pick for a weird pet
  4. The Urban Exploration Resource link is awesome, tons of great info, seems like they are pretty down on writters however...
  5. read 4 Palahniuk books in 4 days... lullaby, diary, haunted and choke (ok, I lied, not quite done with choke yet...) dont know what to read after that
  6. In response to happyvegan... meat/protein shouldnt be a key part of any humans diet.... 80% should be carbs, 10% fruit/veg, 10% protein of couse thats all dependant on what you do with your daily life... body needs protein to build muscle, carbs are fuel
  7. I think Dawoods ethics are the most on point after reading all of this... Vegan for a few years, vegetarian for a few more, tossed my own ideas back and forth for years... I try as hard as I can to NOT support factory farming, Im careful about where the money Im spending goes... Humans are omnivores as stated before... we have teeth designed for that kind of diet. I met vegan hunters and fully support that choice. What it ultimately comes down to is how close are you willing to get to your means of survival? How involved are you in every aspect of your life? Clothes, food, shelter, cars? Much respect for those that kill to eat, grow food to survive, make blankets out of old clothes to keep warm. Dawoods lamb sounds tasty....
  8. I get those notices that I dont post enough, so I randomly pick a thread and post something....
  9. The YL monthly newsletter should be dropping soon, best get on the mailing list.
  10. I dont think kids play outside anymore... Remember when walkie talkies were cool? Now I see 1st graders with cell phones...
  11. going over a roller that was only a day old really proves you dont want any trouble...
  12. I played pong as a kid, wrote my own computer games in basic, remember a life before the internet when BBS's were all the rage, watched tv when the remote was still attached to it by a wire, remember getting our first mircrowave, phones were still attached to the wall (i would give anything to have those days back) while Im thinking about it, how many people know how to use a rotary phone? 1 gig harddrives seemed too big to ever fill, I started driving when you could still find gas for under a dollar a gallon, russia was still the enemy and not a place to get mail order brides, you had to actually push the lawmower, you could actually still spank your kids, childrens shows on tv actually had substance, germany had an east and west, kids actually walked to school (now, mom drives them the 500 feet to the bus stop) cds didnt exist yet, you wanted to make a mix, you did it on tape, and it took time and effort, you wanted to listen to music while you walked? it was with a boombox, fuck an ipod, gas stations still had mechanics, do baseball cards still have gum in the package? old man status when you have to stop yourself from saying "when I was your age..."
  13. As soon as you start adding stuff to it, its no longer coffee... unless its booze, then its really good coffee
  14. Re: Dear ________, - no homo Dear people that put Barbie dolls in the package, You sadistic fucks, breaking in to Fort Knox would be easier. Why must you tie down every tiny little piece with invisable wire? Why must you nestle that little tiny bottle of sunscreen in 5 pounds of plastic? Are you laughing at the factory as I pop it out and it goes sailing across the room never to be seen again? Its ok, it was going to get lost in about 5 minutes anyway, or worse, eaten by the kid. I just want to get the damn thing out of the package as soon as possible. 20 minutes to remove all the pieces of the Barbie bathtub while a 4 year old is screaming? You fucks need to be paying me every time one of these damn things comes home from the store. May the fleas of 1000 camels infest your armpits, Raw Fish P.S. Thanks for driving me to drink after a month of sobriety. These beer shits are for you.

  20. Oh, and DFH 120 IPA, I had that when it first came out, when it was still being bottled in the wine sized bottle. Im surprised Im still alive to tell the story...
  21. I think I paid $7 a bottle for it, flew across country with them praying that none of them would break. Tasty brew, but I liked the Odells Cutthroat Porter that I brought home better. Avery was an impressive brewery trip. Tiny place, great beer AND they have amazing distribution. I can get most of their beers on the east coast and they run their operation out of a place not much bigger than my apartment. DFH malt liquor, not worth the 7-9 bucks they charge for it. Yes, its cool it comes with its own printed brown bag, but I could go get a Naughty Ice for $2 that tastes just about the same.
  22. any of the ones made by creative labs are pretty good... im more than happy with my zen v plus. granted, its only 2gb, but im constantly rotating my music anyway...
