I’ve had Nikon And Canon. Both point and shoot and DSLR and wasn’t fond of the interface of the Nikon DSLR or the quality of picture quality on the Nikon point and shoot. This was about 10 years ago. Not sure about now. Looking at getting a mirrorless for EDC and a DSLR as well. I’ve heard good things about Sony’s mirrorless. Anyone have any experience with those. I’d probably be shooting mostly boring family stuff, vacations, landscapes, dance and graff etc. I would like to get GPS and WiFi as well.

I have a samsung 360 plug in speaker and it sounds awesome. I heard it before hand and “needed” to buy that one. Others didn’t compare. I know you need something for the car but I would look into Samsung as a brand of Bluetooth speaker. Quality of sound is great.

I know this is technically off grid. But you guys are way up there with long winters and unexpected freezes. But have you thought about small grow tents or greenhouses with some inexpensive low draw LED grow lights to get a head start on fruits and vegetables until they harden and it’s safe to put outside.

Like grilling or nuking them? Or like actually actually making them by stuffing the lips and assholes into the casing? Normally I would assume grilling. But since you have animals and live kinda off grid you never know.

Probably buy a few dumb cars. Not anything super crazy. Just more than I’d need. A Unimog (cool capable unique ride) A 3500 Ram truck (for towing) An airstream trailer. (So the Ram can tow it) Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon w/ Ursa Minor roof with built in pop tent. (For quick short solo trips) Grand Cherokee Track hawk ( to have fun and die in it) Suburban (for the extra seats) Prius (the Tesla dude annoys me)
