  1. You guys killed it this weekend. Thanks for coming out from the CMC team...
  2. Here is a rare one up on ebay right now... http://cgi.ebay.com/HIP-HOP-GRAIL-Steven-Hager-Illustrated-History-book-/200585304722?pt=US_Nonfiction_Book&hash=item2eb3d0da92#ht_500wt_1156
  3. I am not sure what avg pressure in a spray can is, would assume50-75 psi. The guys in the spray paint thead might know better.
  4. Juca, I have used something similar to this with ok results. You just have to thin out paint you are using with a reducer. Thought it would be great to have, I have a ton of rusto cascade green in buckets and would love to use it as spray. This can looks like it has a removeable nozzle. If you had an air tank you could just refill as needed.
  5. Those cans are all 10, 11 and 12 oz.. very odd. The 10oz is a metallic and 11oz is clear, if that matters at all. Metallics are always less I think...
  6. i have so many krylon screwdriver top paper labels its not even fucking funny,,, Would like to see the paper labels, because those are not....
  7. Looks like some dirty old cans, would like to see what they are. What are those with the small tops???
  8. Is that cobalt blue, I would love a case of that
  9. I have taken paint back, and know others who have, but don't think you are allowed. Especially with all the rule changes in items you can bring with you. (I last did pre 2001) It is even a real bitch to ship via post office/ups.
  10. hollar if you were out there benching and painting when there wasnt shit running!!! Funny how I remember sitting on a pretty busy line, and just as you say would be lucky to even see tags on the cars passing, now almost 15 years later I work right next to the same line, and when they roll through you are lucky to see a clean car. Some of the smaller local yards would let me walk the outside lines, and I would just hope to catch shit. The CN's and CP's were my best luck at cathcing anything, along with a handful of local writers that were doing their thing...
  11. Most likely the clear coat in the paint...someone tried to light mine thinking it was a candle....
  12. Yeah a couple weeks ago I got word that they re-released avocado in satin and were coming out with a raspberry....then this. Just when I thought things were getting better. Glad I still got my stock of bordens, and a good hookup for older paint.
  13. Hey those are part of my collection that I am still trying to sell.....over 350 1967-1983 rusto all mostly full....
  14. I think something got lost in the translation....but on a side note I remeber seeing some nice Blen Highway spots out in san juan last time I was out there....
  15. Just Listed ... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230112934935
  16. Whats the deal with that zynolyte epoxy? What color is that and is it for sale/trade?
  17. I can't let my secrets out, but everyone can do it, you just gotta know where to look....
  18. Lime Green Anyone...in industrial strength! Almost all free and not stolen, and if I did pay for it, it was under $1. Those that know me, also know I got the old paint for sale. All borden krylon, or 83 and older rusto about $5 a can. And I keeping shipping to a minimum, whats your flavor???
  19. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/03/24/arts/design/24arti.html Article from the times, talking about bansky and how he snuck into four museums in new york to hang his work side by side with other pieces....what you think???
  20. worldoflies marlin changed into harbor. Around 1978 rusto changed all their color names to keep up with times. Fire Hydrant Red=Regal Red, National Blue=Royal Blue, Dunes Tan=Sand, Navy Grey=Smoke Grey(I think) Forrest Green=Hunter Green, Yellow=sunset yellow, Light Yellow=Lemon Yellow, Chestnut Brown=Leather Brown. Avocado stayed the same, Cascade green was on its way out. They got rid of the green and blue aluminums, coral pink and sandalwood tan. The safety colors would soon get switched over to the hard hat line. Two years after that they introduced the five decorator colors, all which failed except for burgundy. I think with some of the name changes they did something with the shades of the colors. Partially becuase colornial Ivory changed to i think almond or antique white and does not look like either of them.
  21. If My memory serves me right this is also a military car... I requested these before, old canadian cars that had images of what was in them painted on them. Only other one I saw was one with an apple on it someone posted... A few other favorites, all mine... Not in service anymore...
  22. Glad to know I am not the only idiot to stop here and take a pic of this spot, shoulda closed the damn car door...now if I can only find the thread I started with that pic 2 years ago... oh and what you gotta call joewelcome out on???
  23. what are you, the state prosecutor or something? well, as cute as your opinions are, you're wrong- it's ok, you have the right to be wrong. and not really that amusing, as much as you try. i'm a MUCH bigger critic of Euro paint than you are, believe you me. but as you may or may not have noticed (reading skills?) i said, i know FOR A FACT that the vast majority is NOT euro paint. there's a lot of colors out there of misc. brands of paint that you never heard of. Industrial Pink? Terex Green? Alpine Green? Posting Purple? Lowes Burgundy? i would go on, but i might wear you out. don't worry, i can filibuster better than most. oh, and i prefer solicitor, not lawyer. keep smiling. paint matters, suckers. Quoted post [/b] HOLLA!!!
