Same for us. When we were interviewing the chemist for krylon we got to talking about a bunch of things. For one reason or another we decided to ask about UFB. When we heard his response we went crazy. It was one of the biggest highlights of the book for us. Something so simple, yet so nerdy! Thanks for the support!

High priced for the US, but I know it was a bitch for him to get them across the pond full. Probably a good deal and one of the only people to sell cans from the US over there.

The things you find when digging through old pics. This was posted somewhere on this thread awhile ago. Unfortunatley the display has been lost in the Hoard, I havent seen it in years, and have no clue what I did with it... Found these around early 2000. The display came from the shelf of an old PA hardware store. When I asked if they had paint they said no, but their main store might. A 15 min drive to their other location and I yeilded these two cans along with several NOS cases of Sheffield grenades and other random bits. Still stop in to the store, and always find something interesting when I pick around.

I took this pick July 2001 and a little over a month later I posted it on here. The first pic, hard to think that was 18years ago...

The biggest problem with collecting....

Those olympic rustoleum cans are great. They don't pop up to often. Red White Black and Silver are the colors I have seen them in.

Those premium decor cans are pretty good. Sprays very similar to old krylon with a slightly different valve.

What can were you using it on. Every can will react different with every brand. Pressure, Valve, Paint are all factors that may make a cap react different. Our CMC Wally cans work best on old valve krylon, and low pressure "Fancy" paints. Every brand will produce differen t results.

We had a short clip on our instagram. That is definatley something we need to put together. If the bodies of the cap are the same they are probably made by same company. The company makes so many styles of caps, they would be similar but might have small differences. Initially we sampled a black body cap, but opted for the white because that is how people in the US remember them.

Beat me to it. Came out good. Never would have thought years ago when this thread was started that we would take it this far.

Never really left, just been spending alot of our time focusing on our various projects. Not to mention 12oz has been a bit of a mess lately, but it seems like they have all the bugs worked out. Juca lets see what you got, time to get this thread jumping again...

Double nevermind, now seeing color chart I see they did use old color names....but only on certain colors....

Something me and the other guys at Cap Matches Color have talked about. Have a classic line with colors like Jungle, Icy Grape, Cascade Green, and even go newer with indian spice or pacific blue. Spot on colors with a special name. Should not be hard, when charts with actual chips are avaialbe and so are the cans. The companies are the ones that would need to pony up the $ to get them though....on a side note Ironlak has the new yard master line out that mimics old colors.... http://ironlak.com/2013/07/introducing-yard-master/ But I dont think they use original color names. Wouldn't think there was a copyright on color names...
