  1. Personally I think that late 80s to early 90s paved the way for bushopping. Back when you stole a car to go the the yards. Most bushoppers I grew up around had a dent-puller. Now bushoppers have IPhones. Times they are a changin'.

  2. Didn't the guy go by the name Dave? But not the Dave cartoon stickers/wheatpaste dude. I remember he was also did the entire front of the Kennel Club, which is now the Independent. Loved those dogs.

    Yes Dave ***n.

    Edited for content not substance.

  3. there was a pit down town up thew street from harringtons bar in the financial district.

    j. task will know that shit.

There was one or two in the pit across the street from 101 California, where that guy went apeshit and killed a bunch of people back in like 92? Defie had a throwup in that pit that had faces and was holding signs, it was dope. People just dont do shit like that anymore.

Also, I remember on Stockton @ Maiden lane on the metal freight elevator doors on the sidewalk so when they opened the it looked like the dog was poking his head out.

    I fucking loved those things.

  4. Re: Don't Call it Frisco

The dogs are in a secret location. And no, they are for from new, I spoke with the lady that owns the house and she commissioned him to do them when he was still doing them on the streets (she said he came with two buckets of paint and a brush and knocked them out in like 15 minutes), which I remember as a kid in the early nineties. I found these by accident and I was psyched that these were there. Probably the only ones that survived.

SB has you guys talking, you are doing exactly what he wants you to do.

If you didn't know TIE, dont put him up.

When did it become trendy to diss CHAN? Seems like people are dissing him and dont even know why they are doing it.

To everyone who reads this thread and doesn't live in SF:

The graffiti you see on this thread only represents a small portion of the graffiti in SF.

    Thank you for your time.

  7. Welcome to San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni). Founded in 1912, the Muni is one of America’s oldest public transit agencies and today carries over 200 million riders per year. Muni provides transit service within the city and county of San Francisco 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Muni operates 80 routes throughout San Francisco with stops within 2 blocks of 90% of all residences in the city. Operating Historic streetcars, modern light rail vehicles, diesel buses, alternative fuel vehicles, electric trolley coaches, and the world famous cable cars, Muni’s fleet is among the most diverse in the world.

  8. San Francisco MUNIcipal Railway. Bus, trolley, light rail, cable cars. They run exclusively in SF.

San Francisco is the only city, that I know of, that calls its transit system MUNI. Its is also the greenest transit system in the country using more electric AND hybrid busses than any other city.

  9. Shit, I was "demonstrating" before alot of you new bushoppers were born.

Although if I had some flicks from back then I would post them, but nobody really thought about taking flicks back then.

Go hit yards if you new guys are so down.

    Writers T Shirt

For sometime I have wanted to create a t shirt paying homage to the graffiti writers who have inspired me and whom I have much respect for their work. The first time I saw the t shirt designed by the Experimental Jetset design group ‘John & Paul & Ringo & George’ I immediately was drawn to the simplicity of Helvetica and knew it would work perfectly as a homage to both the bay area graffiti writers and Experimental Jetset. I find it provoking to see the writers word used in Helvetica Neue. A writer is known for their handstyle but in this form the viewer is forced to focuse on the writers word. I have worn the shirt around the question I get repeatitvly is “what is Log & Tie” (people can not read Adek so that is how far down the tee shirt they get) what I love about it is if this shirt was designed using graffiti letters people would just by pass the shirt and already have the category of graffiti. It kind of fucks with people in that way and also generates an interest in people who would not necessarily ask about graffiti writers. My girlfriend was outside of church with our son and they both were waring the tee shirt all the church ladies could not keep their eyes off the shirt. I think people are now more drawn to letters because we are as a society so over saturated with images making letters fresh and a bit of a novlety.

Fucking gay. Why would you wear another writers name on your chest? Get off the balls.

    Church?? Brainwash house??
