  1. First deliveries this spring -Ford is planning to nearly double production capacity of the all-electric F-150 Lightning™ pickup to 150,000 vehicles per year at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, Michigan, to meet soaring customer demand -F-150 Lightning moves to the final phase of pre-production as pickups roll off the line for real-world durability and thousands of miles of testing ahead of customer deliveries this spring
  2. Only as a response to how insufferable Teslas bros can be. A little humility goes a long way. You can’t get on stage talking about how your car is the future and everything else is shit and then have your ‘bulletproof’ glass shattered by a thrown bowling ball. Personally don’t think an engine swap is on the same paradigm shifting level as the swap from horses to cars
  3. Not sure if you’re referring to the hondas tech here, check the link i posted cause fords absolutely can adjust the vehicle speed
  4. New Fords do this too. Can get this feature for a lot less than buying a Bentley https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/ford-technology/driver-assist-features/what-is-speed-sign-recognition/
  5. Tesla guys just love posting clips of their plastic sled inching out a win in the 1/4 mile against the real beasts. Lets see how well it would do against those cars in something like the 24 hour Le Mans
  6. you’re posting this in a thread about recalls and how the hoods can unlatch on the highway. lol. don’t forget the huge * for that performance. we all know you’re sold on them but your bias is showing. also, your favorite cars look like knock off beamer plastic pieces of shit.
  7. In short; pandemic created a huge surge of demand for electronics(people are home and have more free time), the chips use some rare materials that take awhile to source. Same shit with cars, modern cars need chips as well and pandemic got a whole bunch of people rethinking using public transit or living in the city where they didn’t need a car that and supply chain all fucked up
