heya people.. i know i'm not on here much anymore but since i know this place has some world travelers and folk who live abroad n such i thought i'd ask for some advice.. i'm taking a trip to celebrate my long anticipated graduation from hell. .. i'll be out for about 50 days.. i'm hitting Hong kong for only a night and day then the philipines to meet my friend who is from there for a week then indonesia for a week then thailand for a week then dubai for a week to visit my friend who lives there then to israel (been before but haven't been to eilat yet and i love tel aviv) hopefully meeting up with a friend there then into istanbul for two weeks where i'm meeting up with another friend, but during these two weeks i plan on going down to greece as well. so if anyone has travel advice and location advice on dubai, indonesia, thailand turkey and greece i would very much appreciate it. tesseract you out there still? i'm thinking of taking a boat down from istanbul to greece, but not sure about that. where it goes or what.. i'm figuring about a week in greece too. SO advice?

true. perhaps 'anything' was too much a blanket word, i was just trying to emphasize my point. but i still disagree on the point of feeling entitled to behavior from another person. it's not a business deal like ur military service. you do things for another person because it should bring you joy to make them happy and vice versa, you shouldn't need something in return. to love is to give selflessly. i understand when you don't feel valued and feel like you deserve more but i still think you shouldn't feel like a person 'owes' you or you are doing it for selfish reasons.

well perhaps then i have dated the wrong men... i have always worked, paid for myself. i in no way expect to be paid for or have my rent paid. i appreciate if he wants to do it, and will be happy he cares that much for me but i would never feel entitled to it since i have a pussy and you men should in no way feel entitled to what you seem to think is your right. everyone should know how to cook, clean, work and take care of themselves and then work it out in a partnership who wants to do what. perhaps a man wouldn't want to be the wage earner and the woman would.. i disagree with predetermined roles.. everyone should work it out on their own... i have NO need for a provider. i want a partner who appreciates what i will do for him out of love, and vise versa. it's all about appreciation on BOTH sides.. i have been on the short end many many times doing things for a man that only wants to sit around a smoke weed and watch TV... take out the trash? fix something without a week of nagging to get it? uh huh... yeah right.

i dont mind doing things for my boy like cooking or cleaning.... and ill do it cause it makes him happy, but the second that it becomes expected and not appreciated... thats when i start to resent it and have a problem with it. women should do it out of love or caring, not because they feel they have to. perhaps you havent found a woman that loves you enough to give you what you want.
