If I had to do anything like that, I would want to get a converter and use silver oxide. I hear the zinc-air batteries lose alot of voltage in the first couple weeks causing bad readings and they only last about 2 months regardless of use among the other problems they have in the Luna Pro's.

I've tried every photo battery site i can find. All they sell are "replacements" for the mercury px625's. When you use those, the voltage has a sort of half life that makes older meters give bad readings from the middle to the end of the batteries life.

Does anyone know a good place to get mercury batteries in or outside the U.S.? I'm looking for some PX625 (or an equivalent 1.55v mercury battery used in Gossen Luna pro's and Lunasix's) mercury batteries and they are impossible to find. I don't really want to have to buy a converter or have to get my light meter recalibrated to use some other voltage battery that won't last as long. Anyone using photo equipment pre 1970 having this same problem?

The first ten i think and the last couple issues are worth a good bit to people on ebay or at comic conventions. Also, i think Gi joe (it might have been the marvel star wars comics from the 70's) had some price variant issues that got out into circulation and are usually just sitting in peoples collections that are worth an insane amount in any condition. -Yeah...so I'm a comic geek.
