BBC News It seems the usual tin foil crowd are busy blogging up a storm over this and possible links to FEMA camps. I would be interested to hear from anyone with any medical training, on the likelihood of this becoming serious. Comments?

Bon appetit edit: just so everyone is clear, I (Dirty_habiT) split this thread from the meme's thread where this image was originally posted. It turned into a discussion and I saw fit to make it into it's own topic. Kilz Fillz made a response below saying the same thing.... so don't attack him or hump his leg for this thread rubbing you the right or wrong way.

Am I the only one who thinks she's on to something here. Bush, Obama, and now Trump have all failed to protect America. Why haven't we done anything about 911 but bomb murder hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians? Why are we protecting the country that officially sponsored 911, and provided the manpower? Money, that's why. Skust...

And this is why you don't fuck around with trains. They can VERY easily kill you. I've heard stories of people walking between the trains in the yard and when they attach some up the line they bump into the trains. I dunno how true this is but the trains can apparently move side to side by a good amount. I know for a fact there is very little room in between trains in the yard so I could see someone getting squished this way. Another way trains are dangerous is if you're sitting on top of the walk way on a hopper, and you're smoking blunts/drinking 40s, talking about the successes you've had in life..... and they attach an engine to the train up the line s…

Pretty interesting considering our current situation. I'm starting to think faze 1 was abandoned during the Soviet collapse, and Putin (former KGB) reinstated it during Obama's Presidency. On explanation on why Socialism is popular in Universities, and almost mainstream now. The word "Socialism" is now "politically incorrect" in NYC because people will be offended if you discuss without fully agreeing with it's provably false promise of uplifting the underprivileged.

Wondering if anyone has played with this before, its a method for gauging where you lean as far as main stream political ideology. The vertical Axis defines where you sit on the Totalitarian VS Libertarian spectrum , the horizontal axis defines where you stand on the economic spectrum (redistribution, vs private property rights). https://www.politicalcompass.org/test Not really accurate considering I'm an anarchist, and should fall somewhere outside of, or at least below libertarian: My wife answered some questions different than I would have but scored almost identical:

Full story linked below. It seems pretty sketchy to me that the police would risk losing the conviction on someone like this due to sloppy police work. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2019/11/man-charged-with-theft-for-removing-police-gps-tracker-from-his-car/

Normally, you'd have to read books about this subject before it actually starts to makes sense, but I'll attempt to summarize this complex topic as best I can. The short answer is that we acknowledge these services are 100% crucial (for most), and can't be done away with. There would be a need for private volunteers, private funding models, etc. With that said, we also think we could improve safety even further, and the lack of competition underwriting the technology, and tools for our current monopolized defense models are improvable. Basically a single entity (Federal Government) holds a monopoly on providing these services now, and it doesn't have to be th…

My girlfriend had a car rental reservation for Hertz. Her bags got lost and upon arrival to the airport and she had to deal with that. Her reservation was at 11:30pm, because of the bag issue she didnt get to Hertz until after midnight, crossing into a new day. Her reservation got cancelled by Hertz because it is now the 24th and not the 23rd. They claim she should have called and made arrangements. They’re trying to charge her 3x the amount they were going to. Let’s get real, who among us would have called Hertz as your first priority when your bags are missing? I called Hertz, as did she, and while trying to convey to the rep that i know it’s not her fault, i…

No opinion on her politics one way or the other outside of my usual disdain for all politicians. That aside I like her personality more than any of the other candidates, probably most smashable Democrat celebrity. AOC looks good because she's young, but she also looks like she'd bite your pp if you requested a sandwich. Gabbard has massive milf appeal, knows how to surf, and would be down for dome with ice cubes in the mouth for your birthday just to be cool. No arguing, just just yoga, and healing crystals type wifey materiel. Chauvinistic assessments aside, we talk about the pitfalls of social media on 12oz but what about google. Looks like she …

Gold. Pure gold. Back in May, three Indiana judges got into a fight. It was the crescendo of an incident brimming with colorful details: a gaggle of judges drinking the night before a judicial conference, a failed attempt to visit a strip club called the Red Garter, a brawl in the parking lot of an Indianapolis White Castle. The altercation apparently started sometime after 3 a.m., when one of the judges, Sabrina Bell, raised a middle finger at two men yelling from a passing SUV, and ended after one of those men shot two of the judges. In between, the three judges took a number of actions that "discredited the entire Indiana judiciary," according to …

Yaniris Deleon, an NYPD officer involved the scheme, leaves court on Thursday. A half-dozen NYPD employees, including a current Bronx cop, were busted by the feds for their alleged roles in a multimillion-dollar insurance fraud operation targeting car crash victims from “the hood,” officials said. Police Officer Yaniris Deleon was arrested in Manhattan Wednesday, along with five 911 operators — Makkah Shabazz, Kortnei Williams, Shakeema Foster, Latifah Abdul-Khaliq and Angela Meyers — for allegedly accepting bribes for confidential info on car crash victims, according to authorities. The alleged ringleader — Anthony Rose, aka Todd Chamb…

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/05/nyregion/ny-nj-election-results.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share “New Yorkers overwhelmingly backed a system of ranked-choice voting, which allows voters to rank candidates in order of preference, rather than selecting only their top choice. The goal, supporters said, was to reduce runoff elections and minimize the risk of split votes: If no single candidate won a majority, the last-place finisher would be eliminated, and his or her votes would be redistributed to supporters’ second choices. The system will be used only in primary and special elections and will apply to elections for mayor, comptroller, public advocate…

Cliff notes: Astros hired an analyst who excelled in “money-ball”. Analyst rose through the ranks of organization to position of Assistant GM in five years. Under his guidance, team went from perpetual 100 loss seasons to a World Series victory and another World Series appearance. During the locker room celebration after win that granted them second World Series appearance in three years he yelled how happy he was about a ‘buy low’ trade in which he acquired leagues best closer. Don’t forget, he’s a money-ball guy. Female reporters in the locker room took offense to his celebration because this closing pitcher was accused of domestic violence in 2018. In retur…

Thousands to launch tea-party protest against govt. spending Tens of thousands of conservative activists are preparing to descend on the nation's capital Saturday for a rowdy tea-party style protest, event planners say. About 30,000 have signed up on the event's website to attend the march and rally and oppose what they call excessive government spending, says Adam Brandon, spokesman for FreedomWorks, a group that supports lower taxes and less government. Former House majority leader, Republican Dick Armey, is the organization's chairman. More may show, Brandon says, and at least 450 tour buses will bring protesters from around the country. Both the U…

They come into your cell and hold you down, one of them forces a tube into your nose and down your throat which is extremely painful, then as they hold you down they squeeze a food mixture of some sort into your stomach. Your nose and throat will bleed, remain sore. Bottom line, you are not allowed to turn down meals. They do the same thing with water too. The criminals considered this a "medical necessity" yet it's illegal for any doctor licensed in the U.S. to take part in forced feeding, or any other medical procedure against a sane person's will for that matter. I consider this a form of government sanctioned torture, and pure disrespect to the idea that individuals …

Why are politicians and the majority of Americans so against Illegal Immigrants? They pay taxes and cannot recive the benefits outside of a public school education. I read in a TIME article that they contribute like 15 BILLION dollars to Medicare and the retirement programs which they take out 0 dollars from. Companies like Walmart and Kmart make billions of these same people yet they fail to fight for them. Time for new laws: If you're an upstanding illegal immigrant and you contribute to this nation, its military or local communities you shoudl be elgible to recieve a SS number and apply for citizenship. Many of the same people who oppose illgial immigra…
