A lot of these threads have people asking......"How did so and so Oner pass?" Reign in your curiosity and don't ask. For someone to have to relive the death of their friend by typing the cause of their passing or having someone else type it in is an inexcusable thing. It doesn't matter how they died. What matters is people sharing good memories and recounting the sorts of stories that keep that individuals memory living on in a positive way. These threads are memorials to the fallen, not a gallery of sensational deaths to be gossiped over.

A good Freind of mine I had met a few years back in the Yuba-Sutter area of Northern California passed away less than a week ago in Portland Oregon. It breaks my heart to see such a genuine, dedicated, and humble individual such as himself go at such an early point in his career. Jane told me one time that he got into graffiti after he noticed my name up around his local area and beyond. Its funny because he seemed to come out of nowhere and had already kinged his area like no other had when I noticed him. There's a lot of names I see as time goes on and I can honestly say that Janor impressed me. Actually more than that he actually renewed my motivation to start getting …

James Prigoff (born October 29, 1927) is an American photographer, author, and lecturer focusing on public murals, graffiti, and spraycan art. He has traveled extensively throughout the world documenting these art forms, and his personal archive of 100,000 slides may well be the most comprehensive of any individual mural and graffiti documentarian. n the early 1970s, Prigoff became interested in documenting public murals. He was intrigued by the community nature of the murals, their artistic merit, and their ability to address issues that were not normally found in newspapers, television, and other media. He travelled extensively amassing one of…

RIFF 170 painting a STAY HIGH 149 tag in 2019. This was at the RAY-B 954 and STAN 153 wall in NYC. This was a real treat for everyone to watch RIFF do a few tags on the wall. Some of us at the jam knew this moment needed to be recorded as RIFF wasn't really painting at this point in time. VID_20190928_174626.mp4

Just saw the news on Norm MSK - legendary writer who absolutely crushed and an amazing tattoo artist. I remember being impressed with his work late 90’s in SF - definitely one of the kings of West Coast.

I first met Chance "Batle" when I lived in Orange County in 2008 around the music venue Chain Reaction where he had painted a piece next to all the HOF guys. I was pasting up posters all over the city and somehow or other Batle got my number and we painted tunnels often after that. This guy would text me pictures of women's butts and vaginas with his thick deco marker paint pieces all over them, sometimes 3 or 4 pictures a day, always asking if i knew any slutty women. He was not a saint and was definitely a rascal. We painted some big tunnels under Anaheim with 2much REM about 2 miles underground where we found a small drainage hole barely wide enough to slide through an…

(Via: buckets_of_vomit) While I have never had that chance to meet TRE, friends of mine have and had nothing but good things to say. TRE's impressive freight and hopper hit count is up there with some of the most notable writers in the scene and the amount of crushed freights this past week from his friends have gotten tons of love from all over. The #RIPTRE on Instagram has shown an insane amount of respect and support for a writer who was not only an amazing writer, human being, but a loving father. A Jason Ferranti Memorial Fund GoFundMe has been set up by Jason's cousin where it's at an impressive $4,420 of $10k goal. That was raised by 70 people in only 1 …
