    listen, im sure this all really novice for you all, but im old and like the last person to find out about downloading music and shit. i just went and bought a burner and now i have to figure out where to download music from...someone told me to go to gnutella.com, but i cant figure out where the fuck any music is on that site....if someone could kindly give me a hand or a direction to go, id be much obliged....

    there's a million + one articles on
    how to get music post-napster online.

    gnutella is actually a program you need to download.
    Then the instructions should be fairly step by step.
    Also search for Aimster, iMesh, Scour
    those are similar traders.

    or Learn how to use hotline and the world is yours!

    you need a cilent which taps into the gnutella network. limewire is such one. there are many others out there, some even suited for certain types of music.

    download the cilent.
    register.
    and connect to it.
    wait until the number of hosts is pretty up there, 1k-5k. search whatever you what, but artist, title, or what have you. it might take awhile..

    im a big fan of www.audiogalaxy.com

    you go there, sign up for an account, download this called a 'sattelite.' once thats set up, you just type in what you want, it'll give you a list an you click on what you want. its the most dependable service im come across...

    audio galaxy and lime wire suck ass... napster used to rock but they also suck...
