Help needed: I just bought an ipod and i use a PC. It tells me that none of my USB ports are Hi -speed, therefore i can't transfer files from said PC to siad Ipod. Being semi computer illiterate, i need your help. How do i go about gaining a hi-speed USB port for my computer?

No, my brother actually found it "on the back of a truck" recently and it's pretty blinging. Latest sound cards and graphic cards and all that, but apparently shitty USB ports.
  3. visit a computer hardware store, seriously..i dont think it will even be expensive

Yeah the computer store will help you out more than any of use could. We don't know what kind of computer you have and what not. Then when you find out which usb port would fit your computer best you can get what you need there too, killing two birds with one stone.

or check to see if the coorect drivers are installed to activate usb 2.0 on your mobo. only very recent computers will have that feature, however. your best bet is adding a card.

So after some careful research and talking to friends and J's help, i found that what my ipod wants is USB 2.0, whereas i only have USB 1.1. Meh, it's working now anyway. Thanks to those who helped.
