    writing a book...

Discussion started by GREENOJOS - May 20, 2005

i want to write a book about my shitty company that i work for and bring them to their knees. however my company has probally 400 johnie cohcrens all waiting to battle in court.

if you were to write a book about your company telling the world about all the scandalous shit they do and how much you hate them, could you do that as a ghost writer and just change the name of the company to something really similiar in spelling and be ok without being sued?

i need some information on this.

ps- this is on some nike slave shop working type bullshit.

If it's all true you can't get in trouble for defamation.. so why change anything?

Just make sure you didn't sign a contract when you first got into the company stating you will not release any information about the company.

Only say things you can prove, everything else be careful.

thats just it, the whole signing something to prevent you from talking about certain things. but there has to be some sort of way around that. im not talking about telling how certain parts are made that would be illegal, im talking about general acts and things involved on the inside. how they sell their products, and scam people. things done to employees and ways they get around paying us properly etc.

thats another reason why id change the company name and be a ghost writer so they couldn't sue me directly. haha. that's if i could get someone to publish the book though that is.

Get a copy of the contract, it should be in your personal file, and take it to a lawyer.

Yeah, take your contract to a lawyer first.

    Good luck. Get that dough.

I don't know, maybe write the book first and see if anybody gives a damn about it before worrying about this?

Today I told somebody to go drink the milk straight out of a bull.

It took them a minute to get it.

for real. you'd be better off asking a lawyer than a bunch of criminal graffiti writers.

Can you really fill a whole book about how shitty the place you work for is?

If all else fails, make a website.
