ubejinxed Posted July 10, 2003 Share Posted July 10, 2003 most of the music i listen to is brazilian (& downtempo), so i thought maybe i'd share some favs and see if ya'll have any good recs for world musics or personal favorites bossa nova - gal costa - bebel gilberto - marisa monte axe and samba - banda eva - arte popular - E O Tchan - Olodum - Daniela Mercury - timbalada - carlinhos brown other - most of the escolas de samba - jorge ben - ze ramalho - tribalistas - smoke city i like the Axe Bahia compilations and the tropicalism stuff too.
