um, beards talked me into going to see the shins.

i wanted to strangle every person in the audience. it was like 'gay house', but for straight people, that make you want to beat them to death with a rubber mallet just for existing.

in other words, they fucking suck.

hmmmmm....sounds like quite the topsy turvey world.

I list those shows because its my responsibility to list those shows.

Nothing [outstanding] fucking goes on around here (Boston) [it seems].

Theres too much going on [in my life].

uuuuh

shins....mmmmm fuckno.

you should hear how they talk about the shins on seattle radio, like they are gods or something. like they are suppose to be the spark to the next big revival of seattle.

whatever. im with s.i. on this, shins get the thumbs down.

but if you want to listen to a good seattle band, Pretty Girls Make Graves is my pick of the day. Its a female singer. Check out 'Holy Names' or 'The grandmother wolf' actually just pick up the New Romance cd.

*edit* oh and as far as seattle bands go, obviously death cab for cutie [postal service] is getting some recognition finally.

let me know about this one. I might be in the area when they play.

For damn sure they'd never come here, so I'd make the effort to get to this show.

After consulting my copy of the Georgia Straight, the yeah yeah yeahs are playing the commodore on march 20th (tickets are only $20). if you come out this way to see them gimmie a shout and I'll see what I can do for ya.
