Guest imported_Europe
http://www.willeisner.com/ Will Eisner, RIP (1917-2005) Will Eisner passed away on January 3rd, 2005 at the age of 87 following quadruple bypass heart surgery. More info on Eisner: http://www.newsarama.com/pages/Eisner.htm Eisner is very well known for a lifetime of work including Spirit and numerous other comicbooks, his illustrations and storylines where always topnotch and he captured the essence of living in a metropol like few others ever had done. I personally had the pleasure of meeting him twice, he was an extremely nice and pleasant man, very inspirering and friendly. At his visit in Copenhagen in 1996, it was arranged that he could design a mural for the city, and a 5 story building now offers one of the best art murals in Copenhagen, a classic Will Eisner drawing. Eisners work has inspired many graffiti artist and much of his work include letters and citylandscapes much in the same way as they are used in graffiti. I will miss him and his work a lot. Rest in Peace Will Eisner.

STYLEISKING
