Does anyone ever think about dying? Not necessarily the effects your death would have on family and loved ones, but how nice it would be if a car would just come flying out of no where next time you walk across the street.....? Or am I the only one?

Yea sometimes i think about it....
I think, wow....wouldn't it be nice if someone would just shoot me in the back of the head...
but thats when i am feeling horrible.

it is like that scene from fight club where he has a daydream that there was an midair collision and he was just sitting there while everyone else died...

Yeah thoughts like that pass through my mind mostly when im driving my truck ill be going through an intersection and ill think wow what would it be like to have another car came zooming at me and hitting my side would i flip? would my gas tank explode? how long would it take them to find all of my pieces or more importantly how many people would be inconvienienced by my wonderful mishap?

I think about it all the time when driving. I was behind a beat up van with a rusty propane tank underneath at the back, and I thought "what would I do if that exploded. I should shield my eyes with my arm...making sure my wrist is against my eyes to avoid debris cutting a major artery". And when I'm at turns/merges/intersections where its hard to see other people, I check multiple times, and once I'm moving I look again every time fully expecting to see a car comming hurtling at me full tilt.
but I dont let it bother me....

Who really doesn't think about dying, most people would prefer to go out remembered, Like have it on tv. That way the message gets across to more people. Me, I just want to end the pain, but then I kindly remember the things that keep me here. So untill then. Stay Up.

I tend to think about what would happen if a family member died, or if I died, and what would happen. Also I think about how it would happen. Like when I'm standing on a balcony (I'm afraid of heights) I'll think about it collapsing, or me jumping over the side and how my shin bones would slam through my knee caps and my thing bones would go through my hips and such. I also wonder if my sister would cry, and what my mom and dad would do.

i try not to be that negative. you got to look at the ups in life rather than dwelling on the bullshit. i don't mean to sound like some motivational asshole but i just relax and tell my self that i shouldn't worry about stress from a job or about money or any of that shit because it's all material and material shit isn't that important

I think for most of us it isn't something we dwell on, but, we do think of it from time to time. I for example have a ridiculously over active imagination, therefore when something triggers the death thoughts, I think up all these silly scenarios. They don't last long, but nobody can say death isn't something that occasionally crosses their mind

Sometimes when I'm driving I imagine crashing and the pedals being forced down and chopping my feet off at the ankles. I try to put it out my mind. But apart from that I have a phobia of being stabbed, especially when I'm in a situation when shit starts to kick off, whether I'm involved or not. I try to avoid those kind of situations, and I try to put it out of my mind.:(
