another thing that i keep on getting in my "temp" file...
i'm assuming.. temporary internet files is a VIRUS warning called "trojan horse.exe" or sumthing like that
and then when i clear the internet files its gone...
i dunno what website it keeps on popping up on...

i'd say try Adaware again... it shouldn't affect AOL in any way, and you probably have a shitload of spyware on your computer if you haven't used any removal program in a while. When you run it, examine all the things it finds, and if you see something that looks like it's associated with AOL (which there shouldn't be), just don't remove it/them. You could also try Spybot, another free spyware removal program, but Adaware is more efficient. you might also want to get a new anti-virus program or update the one you have if you can.... there's a free version of AVG anti-virus, which found a lot of shit on my computer that Mcafee and Norton didn't. the site for AVG Free Edition is http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/... you just need to register by giving your name and email address....
