DETO Posted July 13, 2005 Share Posted July 13, 2005 high school rocked. as for your little lsit, i partied. played basketball. was very much into girls. girls were very much into me. smoked the greens. been writing my name on shit since the 8th grade. got arrested twice at school for graffiti. never was into bboying. never into rapping and freestyling, like so many of the other kids were. i was about keeping girls away from each other. this all backfired on me bug time my senior year. lost all my friends that same year because i "fell in love!" after two knee surgeries i finaly gave up basketball after i fucked my shoulder up and had to go under the knife for it. (i really miss basketball! - i have since then, played some city leauge ball, but hold back-) anyway, back on point, high school was great. Dick Quickwood Posted July 13, 2005 Share Posted July 13, 2005 man, those were the days. maybe the thing i was obsessed about most was getting drunk/malt liquor. at that time i didn't even have a full appreciation of the green stuff. as for the school part, some classes were death by boredom and i dreaded coming to them, some were ok to interesting and all but math were each at different times. at this time i would say that the most positive and enjoyable things i did were to skip class and explore/paint, sometimes with a friend, sometimes alone. at that time it was a totally new and awesome thing. iron maiden and the sex pistols played a role in all of this as well. a couple incidents worth mentioning: -vomiting in the trash can in front of class due to extreme zonkedness -my friend and i making a molotov cocktail, then almost throwing it at a bum who was asleep under the bridge, and we did not see. -me drinking a bottle of wine, then smoking before a semester final in library aide class of all things. i puked. then again, i only went to high school for 6 months.
