No one wants to hear that noise, Im so tired of people complaining about hiphop

If its too much, turn off the tv & radio and just listen to old shit

when your tired of that and your ready to stop pouting, start digging for what you think is good hiphop....quietly.

Now that Ive said that, I feel much better now. Dont you?

tra la la.

Why dont you name one? Name one artist who has dropped a tight album between 2000-2004 that has made rotation in my cd deck for more than a week.

^^^^hahaha...I was just listening to that last night.....right now I rocking the old Shyhiem-"The Lost Generation" album---on my newly acquired circa 1986 Sony Boombox I copped at Goodwill for 7 bucks...it's loud as fuck....

RJD2 and Brother Ali are the most recent albums in my collection that get a lot of play.

I dont buy many new cds, I dont buy many cds

If you dont want to bother with anything new, look for some shit from a few years ago that you might have stepped over. You cant possibly have every good hiphop-related album that came out before '96.

Everytime I get bored with my music, i go further back.

Im still listening to Parliament-Funkadelic and Al Green, so my shit is under control.

another solution is to ditch hiphop for a while, and find something else.

The Viktor vaughn cd was decent. MF Doom is the shit.

I laugh at all those "artists" you mentioned. Because so many were tight A LONG TIME AGO i.e. roots, outkast, dilated.

I think the bad taste is in your part. Those albums all sucked

edit: and dont forget to put a slash between the hip and the hop:dazed:

Now and then:

C Ray Walz, some Beatnuts, Common, Blackstar, Talib Kweli, Mosdef, Chase Phoenix, Cage, Jeru The Damaja, Slum Village, Digable Planets, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Hi Tek, J5, De La, Mr. Lif, Sage Francis [amazing lyricist.. IMO]...

I could go on but I wont. Honestly Im not feeling this 'white' MC shit going on seperate from S.Francis, I cant really listen to Atmosphere, Aesop Rock or any of those kids over 5 minutes.
