  1. So this friend of mine that is clueless on computers is complaining to me about his computer disconnecting him from the internet every 10 minutes or so. I was about to install NortonAntivirus and run a check but the problem probably wouldnt be included in the virus definitions on the CD and i wouldnt have time to download the new ones since the dial up isnt fast enough to do it before the virus cuts me off the net.
    So if this symptom sounds familiar to you, drop a name so i can find a solution online.

    I think norton or mcafee has a place where you can put in the symptoms and they can tell you what it is.

    It ghas something to do with the RPC and W32 blaster worm. I had it, its no fun. Good luck

    something i learned on here, is when you get the box saying it's going to shutdown in one minute, type shutdown -a in the run box, in the start menu
