For those of you that use internet explorer, this is what happens. You receive an email from a website like ebay. I received an email from updates@ebay.com and service@ebay.com . They ask you to proceed to their website to update your info. You click the link, it takes you to ebay (your navigator will read as www.ebay.com) and it will ask you for your info. Since the link worked, and I was at the actual ebay website (or so I thought) I almost filled out my info. Luckily McAfee's trial virus scan saved my ass literaly seconds before I did it. I don't go to porn sites or anything either, so I don't know how I got it. Just thought you should all be aware... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
