If you read the posts below the pic, it says that the "tanks" are actually Light Armored Vehicles (LAV's) from Camp Pendleton up in L.A. for a Veteran's Day parade. They drove them up I-5 and got lost in L.A., and drove around trying to find where they were supposed to stage the LAV's the night before the parade.

Why would anybody deploy "tanks" at an anti-war demo anyway? It's not like the demonstrators are any threat or anything.

("What do we want?" "PEACE!" "When do we want it?" "NOW!"---I'm sure the Government is shaking in their boots. The utter futility of political demonstrations make me want to go get a drink and lay down until the desire to give a shit goes away.)

Well, believe it. Because theyre the government. They have the power, they print the money and they breed the super-soldiers. And forget anything you heard about any super-soldiers.
