So, OK, with the excpetion of the possibilities of graffiti, what excatly do you do once you go in to these tunnels? "Oh wow a tunnel, OK let's go"....I've never understood the allure of this shit.....

I'm gueeeeeessing what Channel Zero enjoys in these pics are the graffiti possibilities they evoke.

But who knows.

"Wild! There's no angle between the wall and the ceiling !"

Some people might say the same about trainspotting. I think they are basically a poor man's Magellan. Stuff is interesting though, I've been considering doing some of this for some time.. I wouldn't want to go alone though, atleast not for my first time.

Go read their forums, same exact thing.

"Why would you just want to go paint a wall in an abandoned place, that no one will see."

The alure is curiosity;

"What's down there?"

"What happened here?"

"Where does this lead?"

"When was the last time someone was here?"

...and nastalgia too, I guess. Seeing once useful

structures past their time, decaying and abandoned.

Alure for me is sweet photographs and just the excitment of exploring places i'm not supposed to be in or just exploring abandoned places in general.

I'm contemplating exploring some tunnels and caves round my way(not train related at all) but i need to figure some shit out first and just man up one day and go for it. We have a couple spots scoped out for soon to be exploration.

Personally I love going places you aren't supposed to go. Combination of the excitement of doing it and natural inquisitiveness.

Anyhow www.hurtyoubad.com were thinking of doing a "mini-sub-site" gallery of photos taken in places you aren;t meant to be. If anyone has photos taken in train yards, abandoned buildings, tunnels or any similar sort of place please email me on

b0b@hurtyoubad.com

and we can see what we can sort out.

Thanks
