Guest
that part of canada is pretty isolated from the rest of us. They are some of the nicest people on earth and honestly treat everyone like family. The east coast is a great place. however.... it's a little boring. If you were going to be there for a few weeks, you'd probably meet up with some people (there's a freight scene in Halifax) but dont count on it if you're only in for a night. Guest
there's a huge difference in almost everything. political slant, geography, ethnic backgrounds... everything. one thing though.... almost all canadians are super friendly. BC has mosre of a 'clique' thing going on and Toronto people are damn snobs, but you'll have fun in halifax. Just make sure to drink lots of beer. Telo
Well shit.. I thought it would be closer to 95 with humidity or something than just hovering above freezing this time of year.. Of course I've never been to vancouver so i could be way off.. EDIT** Although 95 does seem a little high.. But freezing? come on? really?

Guest cabin fever
Halifax is a great town. Fuck what ya heard. It's easy to get over, and there are a bunch of good spots. A few writers have come up in this town, I dunno how famous they are elsewhere... Fatso and Dabs are probably the most well-known guys..
