Cracked Ass
Those flicks look suspiciously like the Seattle/Whittier, Alaska barge which runs weekly.
Cracked Ass
Another ferry ship - although it may be a covered hold deal rather than a barge - runs freightcars from Mobile, AL across the Gulf of Mexico to Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico. I had a pieced freight make the trip.

kinkosnerd
those boxes that they put on intermodels often if not always make it overseas. .they seem to buff them pretty quickly, but its a neat idea.

IHATEU
the cross harbor RR at the Navy Yard in Bklyn has a nice freight barge run daily...they were nice enough to let me ride to NJ with them...really good group of people there, if your in the area go speak to them...down for rail fans only though..do not mention graff! EL MASKO
MY PLAN: As they are loading the cars onto the barge, you secretly hop into one of those gondolas w/your supplies and chill till sail. Then when they are off shore, the fun begins. Pull off as many pieces as you can. Then when the get close enough to shore. Hop on back into your gondola and as soon as all is clear. Jet to your designated meeting location where your friend is waiting for you, then take the next car ferry back... Anyone down?

Average White Railfan
they dont go to europe this barge goes from sea town to alaska. theres also one in bklyn to nj. near the scrap yards. i didnt know about the one in mobile to mexico.. i think there is a standard 3' gauge in north america thats bigger than the track guage in europe. those bargs are sick. yeah there are pieces on those cars.
