CinchedWaist
Originally posted by BIGBLUE that must be scary. ^ not scary....just sad. I love going out in the country and looking at the stars. so beautiful.. the best is when i went to key west. we were driving out on the cosways late night, so we were basically driving right over the ocean. I looked outside and all i saw were tons and tons and tons of stars meeting the blackness of the ocean, only it seemed as if there was no horizon, so the sky and water just looked like one. effyoo
i bet it was taken by a geostationary satellite. (hows that for a word) its a satellite that moves at the same speed as earth, so it could follow the dark and snap pics every few minutes. just a thought. Don't Panic
That's pretty damn amazing. I thinkl effyoo's right about how they did it, too. Kind of interesting the way that a lot of the coasts are almost outlined by the light. And light pollution does suck. I would rather navigate a nightly walk by startlight than a humming streetlamp with 50,000+ bugs swarming around it. *Edited to add- Dope post, effyoo.http://www.12ozprophet.com/ubb/icons/icon26.gif'>
