cornelius Posted August 8, 2002 Share Posted August 8, 2002 yeah... so i guess there's not just one "the talk"... there's this other one.. where your girl's dad asks you to step outside... and he'll ask you about your future plans... and how you expect to support his daughter.. and even if you think you've got your shit planned out.... it's not planned out well enough for him... and he'll make you feel like shit.. like your plan isn't going to work well enough... because he's a big business man... and you're just a lowly tattoo artist... yep.... even though i know my plan will work as long as i follow through.... even though i know i'll be financially stable... even though i'm doing much better than most people my age.. it still makes me feel shitty.. anyway... i think i'm just gonna sit up and think about it all night.. because i didn't even get to talk to her tonight... garbage.... cornelius Posted August 9, 2002 Author Share Posted August 9, 2002 when her dad first met me, i wasn't allowed in the house ever again.. he thought i was on heroin.. because i'm pale, and rarely talk or smile... her dad seems to like me now... i heard from her today.. she said her dad said we had a good talk.... so i dunno... there aren't any problems between me and her at all... i was just venting anyway.. right now i feel like puking though... i'm not getting into it.... i'm actually going to go to my room.. i don't even know why i came on here tonight.. thanks anyway for the advice people...
