RumPuncher
http://www.tapefuzz.com/reviews/images/s/streets-originalpiratematerial.jpg'> has anyone else bought into the hype and picked up this album? I'm not sure why I keep playing it. It's not really that deep musically, and I really dont care about learing all the new brit slang, but... It's like nothing I've ever heard before. Almost a truly original album. anyone?

RumPuncher
oh I know sneak. I cant stop listening to it. It's seriously growing on me. Especially the track called 'we become heros'. and would the north american translation for geezer be 'jock' ?
Guest sneak
oh, is it we become? ahh i dunno.. noooo....a geezer is some one who is a little bit dodgy...ya know.. a true geezer would rock his reebok classics with pride a geezer would spend a lot of the time in the local reading the sun a geezer is nto a jock. erm....lemme think of an example...aha...in snatch, Turkish is a geezer
T.T Boy
i kinda liked that album, actually it was pretty good. it was a nice change from the ordinary.
RumPuncher
ok... Turkish. So geezers are about fighting and getting all pissed up daily? The kind of 'blokes' who get all liquored just to stand in the crowd at the football match? Do they just hang in pubs or do they go out to the clubs? I want to know! That's why I tried my best you use sneak's lingo, as 'dodgy' as I might be.

Guest sneak
not all about getting pissed all day but thats a big part...lolz im not sure if i can describe one, but you would know if you saw one. but in "has it come to this"...the day in the life of a geezer sums up what it is really. you get me? RumPuncher
I get you sneak. It's just hard to get to the north american version of the same thing. To use our local terminology, if you cross a 'jock' with a 'gino' and a hint of 'thug', you'd probably have a 'geezer'. and that pic is roots manuva.
