If you're getting something other than that, check the active ingredients to make sure it only has dextromethorphan hydrobromine(DXM) in it. Especially don't use Coricidin Cough & Cold. The antihistimine in that has different effects on everyone, and people have died from medium doses from them, and one kid went into a coma from 5 tablets(this information came from people who do DXM, so it isn't anti-drug propaganda). Although you can extract the DXM from CCC by boiling a little water, putting the pills in, letting them dissolve, pouring the water through a coffee filter(or preferably a filter with smaller holes, if possible). Then collect the crystals on top and dry them. Dissolve the powder in a drink of some sort, and there ya go. It's a lot of trouble, so you should probably drink the syrup first to see if you like it enough. It causes a lot of nausea, so take Tums or something like that with it.
