The man/machine war was fucking sooooooooo intense. A field of killing machines hovering over the overun human army casually picking them off the same way a child might kill a line of ants on a sidealk. Equally as impressive was the whole social commentary they threw in there so seamlessly. SO well done. That shit stuck with me for days. I actually listened to the director commentary on the Second Rennaisance Part one and two and he said the Dark Storm effect was caused by tiny nanomachines released into the atmosphere by the military planes. The ones that got my hairs standing on end the most were World Record and Beyond, particularly the latter.
